Spinner Cap
The spinner cap is a device intended to enhance the appearance of an automotive wheel by giving a visual effect of a slowly rotating wheel even when the vehicle is no longer in motion. To accomplish this, the device includes a unique arrangement of parts including a spinner, a spindle, a bearing, and a cap base. The spindle connects the spinner to the bearing. The bearing enables the spinner to rotate independently of the cap base. When fully assembled, the cap base is inserted into the center bore of the wheel and secured by a plurality of spring clips that engage with the center bore. Once in place, the cap base rotates with the wheel and the spinner freely rotates independently of the wheel's rotation.

Spinner for vehicle wheel
A vehicle wheel spinning device comprising a disk shaped housing having a front and back disk forming a cavity therein is disclosed. The front disk has a series of decorative apertures formed therein. A spinning disk is rotatably mounted within said cavity. Various visual effects are produced by providing on the surface of the spinning disk facing the front disk of said housing at least one section of a contrasting color to the remainder of the surface. When the spinning disk rotates the colors show through said apertures during rotation of the spinning ring. The spinning device is attached to the front of a vehicle wheel in a manner that the housing rotates with the wheel and the spinning disk rotates separately from the rotation of the housing and continues to rotate for a time after the wheel stops spinning.

Wheel trim
The wheel trim (1) comprises a base element (2) provided with holes (3) and a cover element (4) placed on said base element (2), the cover element (4) being linked with the base element (2) by a speed activation element (5) and said cover element (4) being movable between a rest position, in which the holes (3) are not covered, and an active position, in which the holes (3) are completely or partially covered, when the rotating speed of the wheel is higher than a preset speed, and it is characterized in that the cover element (4) is also linked with the base element (2) by a temperature activation element (6), so that when the temperature sensed by said temperature activation element (6) is higher than a preset temperature, the temperature activation element (6) moves the cover element (4) to said rest position.

Non-Rotating Wheel Cap
Apparatus and method for assembling a non-rotating wheel cap. A bearing is seated in either an outer disk of an inner disk as a first assembly step. A weight is in the form of an arc between 90 and 110 degrees and resides in a pocket formed in the outer disk. An adapter disk is attachable to the inner disk to allow customizing for various wheel fitment. A center ornamental portion may be a custom part or may be cut from an original fixed wheel center cap is cut from the fixed center cap, and attached to the outer disk converting the fixed center cap to a non-rotating center cap.
