Method for operating a dirt stop surface, dirt stop surface unit and dirt stop surface assembled therefrom
10610903 · 2020-04-07 ·

The invention relates to a method for cleaning of indoor or outdoor areas by operating a dirt stop surface, comprising the steps of dividing the dirt stop surface (1) into surface units (4), dispensing a fluid flow on the surface to be cleaned, while the proximity of the surface to be cleaned is sensed separately for each surface unit (4), and the fluid is dispensed from the surface units (4) of the dirt stop surface in a selective manner such that only the surface units (4) in the proximity of which the presence of the surface to be cleaned has been sensed are applied for dispensing the fluid. The invention relates further to a dirt stop surface unit and a dirt stop surface assembled therefrom that is capable of carrying out the method.

A surface disinfecting assembly for sterilizing a sole of a shoe includes a box that is positionable on a floor and is positioned adjacent to a selected area such that the box can be stepped in. A pad is positionable in the box and the pad is infused with a fluid antiseptic. In this way the pad sanitize a sole of the shoe thereby inhibiting the shoe from transferring bacteria into the selected area. A cushion is positionable adjacent to the box and the cushion can be stepped upon. The cushion is comprised of a fluid absorbent material for absorbing the fluid antiseptic from the sole of the shoe after the pad is stepped upon.

The invention provides a device for disinfecting and cleaning parts of persons, animals and objects which includes a plurality of sheets and a plurality of substrate layers. Each substrate layer is disposed between two sheets. Each sheet includes an adhesive layer and an antibacterial layer. A tab is arranged on each sheet. The invention can remove the dirt from a foot or paw as well as gently disinfect the foot or paw. Dirt, lint, hair, dust, and germs can be removed from the foot or paw using a gentle, antibacterial, sticky sheet on which the individual steps on.

AUTOMATED THRESHOLD SANITIZING APPARATUS
20190335976 · 2019-11-07 ·

An automated threshold sanitizing apparatus cleans and sanitizes the soles of footwear and feet in a hands-free manner. The apparatus dispenses a pre-saturated sanitized sheet across the threshold for the user to clean and sanitize the soles. A receiving roller draws the sanitized sheet from a dispensing roller to advance a predetermined section of the sheet across the threshold. The receiving and dispensing rollers are housed in a cartridge on opposite sides of threshold. A contaminated section of the sheet is rolled onto the receiving roller for disposal, and replaced by a new sheet that is dispensed across the threshold. A sensor detects motion across threshold, such as footwear moving away from threshold, triggering transmission of a signal to a motor. The motor drives a gear roller that meshes with, and rotates, the receiving roller to draw in sheet. The cartridges include a lid for accessing and replacing rollers.
