APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR FLOATING REGISTER WHEEL
An apparatus and methods are provided for a floating register wheel to provide cooling to brake system components of a vehicle. The floating register wheel includes a barrel for mounting a tire, an outboard face for fastening the barrel to a wheel hub of the vehicle, and vents in the outboard face to provide cooling to the brake system components. The outboard face includes a surface register for fastening the outboard face to the barrel and a floating register that includes the vents. Spokes join the surface register and the floating register to a hub for fastening the wheel to the vehicle. The floating register is outboard of the surface register to provide openings between the floating register and the surface register. The openings allow air to flow from the vents to openings between the spokes to extract heated air from the brake system components during operating the vehicle.

Airless tire
The purpose of the present invention is to minimize decline in endurance, while improving vibration performance. The spokes of an airless tire are provided, as an integrated unit, with an outside annular portion joined to the inside peripheral surface of a tread ring, an inside annular portion joined to the outside peripheral surface of a hub, and a spoke plate portion of constant thickness providing linkage therebetween. The radial inner edge and the radial outer edge of the center plane of thickness of the spoke plate portion are respectively diagonal with respect to a tire axial-direction line. The intersection line at which the center plane of thickness intersects a plane that is at a right angle to the tire axial-direction line constitutes a straight line. The spoke length, which is the length from the radial inner edge to the radial outer edge along the intersection line, is constant for any given location in the tire axial direction.

VEHICLE WHEEL, IN PARTICULAR FOR COMMERCIAL VEHICLES, WITH AN AERODYNAMIC COVER AND AERODYNAMIC COVER FOR VEHICLE WHEELS, IN PARTICULAR FOR COMMERCIAL VEHICLES
A vehicle wheel for commercial vehicles, having a fastening device for an aerodynamic wheel disc cover. In order to enable secure and easy fastening of the disc cover, the fastening device comprises several fastening holes arranged in the hub connection flange, with at least one fastening hole consisting of a through hole having a smaller diameter on the front side of the wheel than on a rear side of the hub connection flange and forming an abutment for a detachable retaining means acting by form fit, and/or wherein at least one fastening hole consists of a through hole provided with an internal thread for screwing in a fastening screw as a retaining means, and/or that the centre hole has an inner circle edge comprising a constriction which forms an abutment for a cover side arranged retaining means acting by form fit.

Wheel mounted cooling fan
A cooling fan mounted on the hub between two tires of a vehicle, especially large tractor trucks and trailers. The wheel mounted cooling fan has a multiplicity of fan blades which extend inwardly and downwardly toward the rim of the interior tire and is mounted between the rims of the inner tire and outer tire with the rear surface of the wheel mounted cooling fan facing the inner tire. The inner fan serves to provide beneficial effect including cooling of the brakes and increasing fuel mileage of the truck. While primarily intended for use with large trucks, the cooling fan can also be sized to fit smaller trucks which have two pairs of wheels in the front and/or the back.
