COMPOSITE WHEEL ASSEMBLIES
Methods for fabricating composite wheel assemblies are described, as well as the composite wheel assemblies being fabricated. The composite wheel assemblies may include multiple formed components that are joined together at one or multiple locations within the wheel assemblies, or may be fabricated as a castable wheel. The composite wheel assemblies may be fabricated from reinforced plastic and/or a metal.

Wheels for non-motorized vehicles
A wheel for a non-motorized vehicle (e.g., a shopping cart) can include a housing assembly and a tread assembly. The housing assembly can be configured to sealingly house electronics or other components. The tread assembly can removably mate with the housing assembly such that the electronics or other components remain closed and/or sealed within the housing assembly when the tread assembly is mated or unmated with the housing assembly.
Apparatus for measuring speed of vehicle having in-wheel motor
An apparatus for measuring a speed of a vehicle having an in-wheel motor includes a lock nut part fixed to an outer portion of a rotation shaft rotated by receiving power of the in-wheel motor, and restricting movement of a bearing part positioned outside the rotation shaft; a connection part coupled to the lock nut part; a magnet part having a magnetic force, and fixed to the connection part; and a speed sensor part installed to be separated from the magnet part, and measuring rotations of the magnet part.

Method of using a Wheel Beadlock Design to attach a tire to a wheel.
An improved mechanism to secure a tire between a bead ring and a wheel utilizing a bolt is provided. The bolt has a ball seat that pivots within an enlarged pilot hole in the bead ring as the bolt threads engage in threaded section of the wheel, pulling the bead ring toward the wheel. As the bead ring is tightened upon the wheel, eventually the bead ring contacts a fulcrum on the wheel, at which point the outer edge of the bead ring is leveraged against the tire bead bundle and pressing down the tire bead to lock it in place against the wheel. As the bead ring can pivot within the enlarged pilot hole around the bolt, the bolt is not stressed. Further, the wheel comprising a safety bead and non-skid coating on the inner wall of the wheel to prevent the wheel sliding around the wheel.

Vehicle wheel having a connection of a wheel rim with rim base made from fiber composite material and a wheel disc
A vehicle wheel comprising a wheel rim with a rim base made from fiber composite material and a wheel disc. The wheel disc is connected to the wheel rim by a connecting element which is guided through a passage of the rim base and is received in the wheel disc. The wheel rim comprises a connecting arrangement with at least one connecting element and a seal element which covers in a complete and hollow manner a part of one or more adjacent connecting arrangements that extends across the rim outer side of the rim base. A circumferential edge of the seal element is glued in air-tight manner to the rim well. Alternatively, the wheel rim comprises a connecting arrangement with a connecting element and a flexible sealing layer made from plastic and completely covers, by coating, a part of the connecting arrangement which extends over the rim outer side of the rim base. An edge region of the flexible seal layer is connected in an air-tight manner to the rim base.
