FLUID RESERVOIR WITHIN A TIRE
A wheel assembly has a rim with an outer radial surface. A tire coupled to the rim defines a first interior region between the outer radial surface and the tire. A bladder coupled to the rim defines a second interior region between the outer radial surface and the bladder. A third interior region is defined between the bladder and the tire. The wheel assembly includes a valve fluidly coupled to the second interior region and the third interior region. The valve is movable between a first position and a second position. The second interior region and the third interior region are fluidly isolated from one another when the valve is in the first position. The second interior region and the third interior region may be fluidly coupled to one another when the valve is in the second position.
Adapter For Rolling Assembly And Rolling Assembly Comprising Same
Adapter for a rolling assembly having an axis of rotation comprising a tire having two beads, a rim with rim well (13) between two rim seats (12) each with an axially outer end, and width W between axially outer ends of these rim seats. The adapter, coupled between each bead and each rim seat, has two axially outer ends (2) each comprising seat (3) and bearing face (4) in a plane perpendicular to the axis of rotation. Body (5) connects outer axial ends (2) and comprises a main reinforcement, face (16) in contact with each seat (12) and with well (13) and positioned radially on the inside. The adapter has a total axial width L between each seat (3), and 60%W/L20%. Body (5) comprises immobilizing element (8) to wedge the adapter in the rim well (13).

WHEEL ASSEMBLY INCLUDING WEDGE BODY DAMPER ASSEMBLY AND RELATED METHODS
A wheel assembly may include an inner rim, and an outer rim surrounding the inner rim. The wheel assembly may also include gas springs coupled between the inner and outer rims. Each gas spring may include a cylinder body, a piston rod movable within the cylinder body, and a damper assembly coupled to an end of the cylinder body. The damper assembly may include a plug body coupled to an end of the cylinder body and having an opening to permit passage of the piston rod therethrough, and a damper end cap coupled to the plug body to define a wedge cavity surrounding the piston rod. The damper assembly may also include a wedge body surrounding the piston rod within the wedge cavity to frictionally dampen piston rod movement.

Seal mechanism for wheel assemblies
In an example, a seal for a wheel assembly includes a first disk half and a second disk half. The seal includes a cylindrical body having a hollow interior, a first seal end configured to mate with a first inner disk surface of the first disk half, and a second seal end configured to mate with a second inner disk surface of the second disk half, and one or more drain holes. The cylindrical body has a cylindrical wall with the one or more drain holes configured to substantially deflect incoming matter from impinging upon the hollow interior and to allow condensate to evacuate from the hollow interior through the one or more drain holes. The cylindrical body includes an elastomeric material.
