Wheel support device for vehicle

A wheel support device for a vehicle includes a bearing that rotatably supports a wheel, and is lubricated by a lubricant, a bearing support member, and a self-discharge type charge eliminator provided on a surface of a particular member. The self-discharge type charge eliminator is configured to change air around the self-discharge type charge eliminator into negative air ions, and eliminate charge by causing the air ions to attract positive charges of the particular member for neutralization, so as to reduce the quantity of charge of the particular member, and thereby reduce the quantity of charge of the lubricant.

A bicycle hub with a hub axle, a hub shell, a rotor and a freewheel device, the hub shell rotates with a rotor-side hub bearing, and an outer hub bearing. The rotor rotates with a hub-side rotor bearing disposed closer to the hub shell and an outer rotor bearing further from the hub shell. The freewheel device includes hub-side and rotor-side toothed disk devices, each toothed and biased for engagement with one another. The toothing of the hub-side toothed disk device is axially oriented to the rotor. The rotor-side toothed disk device is accommodated radially within the rotor and is coupled to move with the rotor. The inner diameter of the rotor-side toothed disk device is larger than that of the hub-side rotor bearing. The biasing device includes a coil spring with a winding wire, extending around a spring axis and whose winding ends are disposed diagonally opposite one another.

Low-friction sealing assembly for a vehicle wheel-hub unit to be inserted in an annular space defined between a flanged rotating element and a stationary element, to protect at least one ring of rolling members arranged between the stationary element and the rotating element; the flanged rotating element being provided with a flange and a mounting seat delimited by a cylindrical bottom wall and by an axial shoulder arranged on the opposite side to the flange. Nominal dimensions of an internal diameter of a sleeve portion of an annular screen are substantially the same as nominal dimensions of an outer diameter of a cylindrical bottom wall of the mounting seat, and the axial shoulder has an entry edge with a substantially conical form for facilitating mounting of the annular screen on the rotating annular element.

Method for manufacturing hub ring and method for manufacturing vehicle bearing apparatus

A method for manufacturing a vehicle bearing apparatus includes a method for manufacturing a hub ring. The hub ring includes a seal facing surface, a flange portion, and a shaft body portion. The flange portion includes a thin portion, a thick portion, bolt holes, a thin portion outer surface, a thick portion outer surface, and bolts. The flange portion protrudes outward from the shaft body portion. The thick portion is formed on an outer side with respect to the bolt holes in the flange portion, and the thin portion is formed on an inner side with respect to the thick portion in the flange portion. In the method for manufacturing the hub ring, machining is performed on the thick portion outer surface by using the seal facing surface subjected to grinding, as a reference surface, after the bolts are fitted into the flange portion.
