Drive device
A drive device for driving and rotating a wheel includes an axle shaft, a hub to which rotation of the axle shaft is conveyed, a plurality of fasteners for securing the wheel to the hub, a wet brake, a housing, an oil seal, and a cover. The wet brake is configured to restrain the rotation of the axle shaft. The housing accommodates the axle shaft and the wet brake. The oil seal is disposed between the housing and a part of the hub that is disposed inward of the fasteners in a radial direction of the hub. The cover has an annular shape. The cover is disposed in a space formed between the hub and the housing, and is secured to the housing. The cover is configured to cover the plurality of fasteners.
Powered skateboard
A powered skateboard having a powered wheel. The powered wheel formed of a motor within tire of the wheel. The powered wheel fixed to a truck of the powered skateboard. The powered skateboard including at least one onboard battery to provide electrical power to the powered wheel.
BICYCLE SPROCKET ASSEMBLY
Example bicycle sprocket assemblies are described herein. An example sprocket assembly includes a cassette formed by a plurality of sprockets arranged in increasing diameter order from a first end to a second end of the cassette opposite the first end. The cassette has a passageway extending between a first opening in the first end and a second opening in the second end to receive a driver hub. An outboard portion of the passageway is formed between a midpoint of the cassette and the first end of the cassette. The cassette further includes a torque transmitting profile located within the outboard portion of the passageway to interface with the driver hub. The sprocket assembly also includes a bushing to be disposed within the second opening to form a non-torque transmitting interface between the second end of the cassette and the driver hub.
DUST COLLECTOR FOR MULTI-DISK BRAKE
A multi-disk brake assembly includes a static structure defining a plurality of slots, a plurality of disks including stator disks that are supported by the static structure and are non-rotatable, and rotor disks that are interleaved with the stator disks and are rotatable, the plurality of disks being axially moveable between an engaged position and a disengaged position, and a dust-collecting receptacle that is attachable to the static structure for securement during an operative state of the multi-disk brake assembly. The dust-collecting receptacle is in fluid communication with the plurality of slots for receiving and trapping dust from the plurality of disks through the plurality of slots. The dust-collecting receptacle is detachable relative to the static structure during a non-operative state of the multi-disk brake assembly.
Hub-bearing unit configured for mounting on the knuckle of a suspension
A hub-bearing unit is provided with a hub, rotatable, with an axially outer flange portion configured for engagement with a rotatable element of a motor vehicle, a bearing unit provided with a fixed radially outer ring, configured for engagement with a fixed element of the motor vehicle, a first, axially outer, crown of rolling bodies, and a second, axially inner, crown of rolling bodies, interposed between the radially outer ring and the hub. The radially outer ring is held in position with respect to the knuckle by a stop ring, positioned on the axially inner side of the radially outer ring in a seat formed on the radially outer ring.
BICYCLE HUB ASSEMBLY AND BICYCLE CONTROL SYSTEM
A bicycle hub assembly includes a hub shell including a braking surface. A coaster brake shoe is accommodated in the hub shell and cooperates with the braking surface to generate braking force. A motor is accommodated in the hub shell and configured to be controlled for at least changing or maintaining a gear ratio.
RIGID WHEEL BEARING
Wheel bearing flanges and wheel bearings are disclosed. The wheel bearing flange may include a flange connected to an inner ring of a bearing, the flange having a front surface facing away from the inner ring and a rear surface facing towards the inner ring. A plurality of geometric features may extend from the rear surface in an axial direction and define recessed regions of the flange therebetween. The geometric features may be formed in a pattern and the geometric features may include ribs.
Shaft sleeve providing seal-engaging surface
Electric motors are disclosed. The motors are preferably for use in an automated vehicle, although any one or more of a variety of motor uses are suitable. The motors include lift, turntable, and locomotion motors.
BEARING DEVICE FOR VEHICLE WHEEL
This bearing device (1) for vehicle wheels comprises: an inner undercut part (8) provided in a portion at which an inner rolling surface (3d) formed on the inner side of an inner member (3) and an inner flange surface (3m) of the inner rolling surface (3d) intersect; an outer undercut part (9) provided in a portion at which an inner rolling surface (3c) formed on the outer side of the inner member (3) and an outer flange surface (3n) of the inner rolling surface (3c) intersect; and a vehicle wheel installation flange (3e) provided at a portion adjacent to the inner rolling surface (3c) formed on the outer side of the inner member (3), wherein, when the radius of curvature of the inner undercut part (8) is Ri, and the radius of curvature of the outer undercut part (9) is Ro, the relationship of Ri<Ro is satisfied.
Wheel for a motorcycle or a motor scooter
The invention relates to a wheel for a powered two-wheeler, in particular a motorcycle or a motor scooter, that is at least sectionally made of a fiber-reinforced plastic material. A hub area (12) of the wheel (IO) is provided with two rigid, self-supporting, metal inserts (18, 20), which are arranged on axially opposite sides of the hub area (12), and which in an axial and radial direction (A, r) are connected to one another in a form-fit manner.
