A bearing device for a wheel includes: an outer ring including a leg portion protruding radially on an outer periphery; an inner shaft provided on a shaft end; rolling elements; a sealing device which seals an opening portion on the flange side; and a slinger fixed to the inner shaft and extending axially at a radial outer side of the sealing device. The sealing device includes an elastic lip and a cylindrical cover portion in elastic contact with an outer peripheral surface of the outer ring. The slinger is opposed to at least a part of an outer periphery of the cover portion in a radial direction via a clearance.

A unitized wheelend is provided. The unitized wheelend includes a hub having an inboard side bounded by an oil seal and an outboard side bounded by a retainer releasably coupled to the hub. The unitized wheelend assembly includes an inboard bearing assembly, a spacer, an outboard bearing assembly, and a spindle nut assembly.

A sealing device for a bearing unit is provided. The sealing device includes a dynamic component, a static component having a shaped metallic support, and a plurality of sealing lips not making contact with the dynamic component and two lips making contact with the dynamic component. A second sealing lip of the non-contacting sealing lips and the dynamic component define a labyrinth seal, and a fixed spoiler arranged along the labyrinth seal for the creation of turbulent motion inside the labyrinth seal to provide a complete sealing action preventing any entry of components inside the bearing unit.

Sealing unit for a wheel hub group (50) for vehicles that is provided with a roller bearing interposed between a rotary hub for a wheel of the vehicle, and a stationary pin of an upright of said vehicle, the sealing unit in turn comprising an annular pre-cavity arranged in an axially frontal position of the roller bearing, a dynamic portion in rotation about an axis (A) when in use, and a static portion cooperating with the dynamic portion to protect the roller bearing from external contaminants, the dynamic portion having a centrifuging surface formed on a free end of the hub and the static portion in turn having a stationary screen that is fitted onto the support pin inside the pre-cavity and that has a centrifuging section facing the centrifuging surface to facilitate expulsion and drainage of contaminants out of the annular pre-cavity.

Sealing device for a wheel hub assembly provided with a rolling bearing, the sealing device being provided with a shield mounted on an outer ring of the bearing and with an annular cylindrical wall having an inner lateral surface mounted on an outer lateral surface of a collar of the outer ring; and with a sealing material fixed to the shield and defined by a pre-formed annular covering of polymer material, preferably but not necessarily rubber or thermoplastic material, formed independently and separately from the shield and mounted on the shield.

A final drive seal guard for a track-type tractor comprising a base component adapted to be stationarily fixed to the tractor and to surround a portion of a spindle housing of the final drive, a sprocket component adapted to be carried on and surround a portion of a sprocket hub of the final drive that rotates about an axis, and an intermediate component adapted to be bolted over the exterior of one of said base and sprocket components and surround portions of both of said base and sprocket components, the intermediate component and another of said base or sprocket components being mutually arranged to form a radially extending sealing gap at a potential path of debris into the guard at a location free of a relatively long axial gap upstream in said potential path.

In one aspect, a wheel hub oil seal including an annular seal having a central opening to receive a vehicle spindle. The annular seal has an oil side for being contacted by oil in the wheel hub and an air side of the annular seal opposite the oil side. The annular seal has a radially outer mounting portion configured to sealingly engage an interior surface of the wheel hub. The annular seal includes a sealing member having a contact portion configured to form a dynamic seal with a running surface. The contact portion of the sealing member has an underlip pressure profile configured to pump oil toward the oil side of the annular seal upon rotation of the radially outer mounting portion of the annular seal with the wheel hub around the vehicle spindle.

A hub built-in type constant velocity apparatus includes a hub housing with a constant velocity joint coupled inwardly, an internal race coupled to an external circumferential surface of the hub housing, and a pre-load ring coupled to the external circumferential surface of the hub housing and located on a side of the internal race, wherein an end portion of the hub housing is formed to be rolled upwards toward the pre-load ring to form a forming portion coupled to the pre-load spring for applying pressure to the pre-load ring and the internal race.

Hub bearing assembly for a vehicle wheel, the assembly having an axial tubular appendage capable of being inserted into a central hole of a wheel of the vehicle, and wherein the tubular appendage has a radially outer surface of substantially cylindrical shape; a collar of cylindrical shape being mounted on the tubular appendage so as to cover a second centring section of the radially outer cylindrical surface, and having an insert of metallic material and an inner coating layer which at least partially covers the insert and is formed on the insert by galvanizing.

A sealing device for bearing units is disclosed herein. The sealing device may comprise a static component and a dynamic component. The static component is provided with a shaped metal support, with a plurality of non-contacting sealing lips, and with two contacting lips. The dynamic component defines a labyrinth seal with a second sealing lip of said non-contacting sealing lips, a third lip, preferably non-contacting, being positioned along the labyrinth seal and having a full angular extension, so as to form a full seal against any ingress of contaminants into the bearing unit.
