WHEEL BEARING ASSEMBLY AND METHOD FOR DISASSEMBLY
A wheel bearing assembly includes at least two rolling-element bearings which participate together in a bearing assembly. At least one of the rolling-element bearings includes at least one bearing ring, which, for transmitting a propulsion, is attached to a drive shaft . At least one brake element of the wheel bearing assembly is immovable relative to the bearing ring and a connecting unit of the wheel bearing assembly connects the brake element to the bearing ring. By a removal of the connecting element from the bearing ring in which none of the rolling-element bearings need to be removed, even only partially, the brake element is removable from the rolling-element bearings and is displaceable to any distance from the bearing ring.
Bicycle hub assembly and bicycle control system
A bicycle hub assembly includes a hub shell including a braking surface. A coaster brake shoe is accommodated in the hub shell and cooperates with the braking surface to generate braking force. A motor is accommodated in the hub shell and configured to be controlled for at least changing or maintaining a gear ratio.
WHEEL HUB ARRANGEMENT FOR DRIVES WITH ROTATED DRUM
Wheel hub arrangement for a drive with rotated drum that has a stationary shaft (13); a hollow drum (19, 20) arranged by bearings around it, a wheel drum (32) that includes a hub of the driven wheel, and freewheels, inner sleeve (21, 22) which are arranged around the stationary shaft (13) by bearings, and placed partially in the cavity of the drum (19, 20). The wheel hub arrangement for a drive with rotated drum for bicycles, street stepper vehicles, wheelchairs and tricycles.
INTERCHANGABLE WHEEL HUB MODULES
A drive spline defines an inner profile configured to receive and mate with a drive axle and an outer profile configured to mate with a wheel hub. A cage surrounds and is engaged with the outer profile of the drive spline. The cage retains the drive spline axially and radially in position relative to the outer profile. A cap is coupled to an end of the wheel hub connecting device opposite the drive spline. The cap encloses the end of the hub connecting device.

HUB-INTEGRATED INFLATION SYSTEM
A hub-integrated inflation system which functions to convert relative motion at the wheel end (e.g., between the axle and the hub or wheel) into a pumping motion. The relative motion is then converted into mechanical or electrical energy, which can be used to actuate a pump of an inflator.

WHEEL HUB SEAL
In one aspect, an apparatus for retaining lubricant in a wheel hub assembly, the wheel hub assembly including a wheel hub and a spindle nut for securing the wheel hub to a vehicle spindle. The apparatus includes an annular lubricant seal, a mounting portion of the lubricant seal to be mounted to the wheel hub, a central opening of the lubricant seal to receive a running surface of the spindle nut, and a sealing portion of the lubricant seal extending around the central opening of the lubricant seal. The sealing portion is configured to form a dynamic seal with the running surface of the spindle nut and keep the lubricant from escaping between the sealing portion of the lubricant seal and the running surface of the spindle nut as the wheel hub rotates around the vehicle spindle.
Wheel assembly for vehicle wheel adjustment having hub with two ports
An apparatus for a vehicle is provided that has an axle and a spindle sleeve with a spindle sleeve inner surface axis coaxial with the axis of the axle, and a spindle sleeve outer surface axis not coaxial with the axis of the axle. A hub has an axis coaxial with the spindle sleeve outer surface axis, and the hub at least partially defines a chamber. First and second ports extend through a wall of the hub to the chamber. The hub rotates about the spindle sleeve through the aid of two bearings. Lubricant is present within the chamber, and the first port provides a pathway for a pressurized fluid to be introduced into the chamber to force the lubricant out of the chamber via the second port.
