WHEEL-DRIVE ASSEMBLY
A wheel drive assembly for transferring propelling torque from a source shaft to a wheel, the source shaft receiving torque from a motion actuator. The wheel drive assembly includes a wheel-hub, adapted to have the wheel mounted thereon, the wheel-hub being arranged about a longitudinal axis, which is adapted to coincide with a rotation axis of the wheel. The wheel drive assembly further includes a drive axle and a constant velocity (CV) joint mounted onto an outer end of the drive axle. The CV joint connects the drive axle to the wheel-hub. An outermost surface of the CV joint is disposed outwardly of an outermost surface of the wheel hub, along the longitudinal axis of the wheel-hub.
Front portal spindle assembly
An apparatus and methods are provided for a portal spindle assembly for a vehicle front suspension. The portal spindle assembly comprises a spindle portion that is rotatably coupled with upper and lower connecting arms. A leading-edge portion is rotatably coupled with a steering rod-end joint, such that moving the steering rod-end joint rotates the spindle assembly with respect to the upper and lower connecting arms. An inboard case and an outboard case support a pinion gear assembly that is meshed with an output gear assembly for communicating torque from a constant velocity joint to a front wheel coupled to the output gear assembly. The pinion gear assembly is aligned along a pinion axis disposed at an angle with respect to a hub axis of the output gear assembly. The angle facilitates a suspension geometry that provides a camber change of the front wheel that eliminates a change in track width.
Apparatus for measuring speed of vehicle having in-wheel motor
An apparatus for measuring a speed of a vehicle having an in-wheel motor includes a lock nut part fixed to an outer portion of a rotation shaft rotated by receiving power of the in-wheel motor, and restricting movement of a bearing part positioned outside the rotation shaft; a connection part coupled to the lock nut part; a magnet part having a magnetic force, and fixed to the connection part; and a speed sensor part installed to be separated from the magnet part, and measuring rotations of the magnet part.
Landing gear wheel retention device
A wheel retaining assembly for a landing gear having an axle and an outer wheel bearing, the axle defining an axial direction along an axial centerline, is disclosed. In various embodiments, the wheel retaining assembly includes a first wheel spacer configured to slide over the axle and to abut the outer wheel bearing, the first wheel spacer having an axially outward portion; and a second wheel spacer configured to slide over the axle, the second wheel spacer having an axially inward portion configured to engage the axially outward portion of the first wheel spacer.

BICYCLE TRANSMISSION ACTUATION SYSTEM
A bicycle including a frame with a fork, the fork having dropouts between which a wheel axle is mounted. The wheel axle includes a sensor and/or an electric component arranged to be connected to a control element. A detachable electric connection is provided between the sensor and/or electric component and the control element. The detachable electric connection is positioned between the wheel axle and the thru-axle.
Device and an axle for rail vehicles
A device for rail vehicles comprising a predominantly hollow axle tube extending along a longitudinal direction (LR) and ending in a first wheel flange, and a wheel support extending opposite to the longitudinal direction (LR), comprising a wheel bearing, a second wheel flange and a mandrel as a cone, wherein the second wheel flange, the first wheel flange and a wheel arranged therebetween with a wheel hub are connected to each other via a flange connection, and wherein the mandrel as a cone is inserted from the wheel holder in a positive-locking manner opposite to the longitudinal direction (LR) through the wheel hub of the wheel into the interior of the axle tube and ends at the fastening element, which is arranged and cast into the axle tube and is connected thereto.
Wheel assemblies removable without tools
A hub or wheel assembly includes a retaining element, biasing element, and hand-maneuverable release mechanism. The housing includes an axle bore configured to receive an axle and a pin sleeve including a first end in fluid communication with the axle bore, a second end, and a conduit between the first end and the second end. The retaining element is within the conduit and is configured to operatively engage a groove in an axle. The biasing element is within the conduit and is configured to bias the retaining element towards the axle bore. The hand-maneuverable release mechanism is configured to displace the retaining element away from the axle bore.
Wheel bearing arrangement for a motor vehicle
A wheel bearing arrangement for a motor vehicle with a wheel hub and a wheel bearing for the rotatable bearing of the wheel hub at a wheel mount. The wheel bearing has an outer ring and an inner ring, which is rotatable with respect to the outer ring around an axis of rotation and is connected to the wheel hub. A wheel flange extends from the wheel hub and, as viewed in the axial direction, has a brake disk mount, which is open in the direction facing away from the outer ring and which, as viewed in longitudinal section with respect to the axis of rotation, is formed by a recess of the wheel flange, and has a support surface for a brake disk.
