The caster mount (3) is connected to the support plate (2) rotatable about a vertical rotation axis (V). At least one first magnet (15a) is connected to the caster mount (3) and at least one second magnet (15b) is connected to the support plate (2). The magnets (15a, 15b) are magnetized and disposed so as to be mutually parallel including a gap in such in an alignment of the caster mount outside a defined basic alignment (G) of the caster mount (3) the magnets (15a, 15b) interact such that the caster mount (3) swings into basic alignment (G). The caster mount (3) has a cover plate (11) which collectively with the saucer (9) of the support plate (2) and with the mounting plate (7) encloses an intermediate space for the magnets (15a, 15b). The cover plate (11) has two legs (17a, 17b) which extend in the direction of the horizontal rotation axis (H) of the caster (6). Each leg (17a, 17b) has a free end (18a, 18b) remote from the cover plate (11) is connected to the caster mount (3) via a connector.
TRAILER WITH SWIVEL CASTERS
A trailer for a motor vehicle includes a bed, a trailer tongue, a tongue frame, and a plurality of swivel frames. The bed has a front end and a rear end, and is configured to receive a load to be transported by the trailer. The trailer tongue is configured to be rigidly coupled to a hitch, wherein the hitch is rigidly affixed to a motor vehicle. The tongue frame operable couples the trailer tongue to the bed proximate the front end in a laterally rigid manner, such that the bed is substantially inhibited from lateral movement with respect to the hitch. Each of the plurality of swivel frames is operably rotatably coupled to the bed, and includes at least one wheel rotatably attached thereto.
DOLLY
A dolly for transporting products thereon, the dolly comprising a top with a product support surface and an opposing underside, a plurality of casters provided on the underside, two of the casters being swivel casters configured to rotate relative to the product support surface; biasing means configured to bias a wheel of each swivel caster towards a first equilibrium position. A plurality of reinforcing ribs provided on the underside; wherein at least one of the reinforcing ribs is a curved reinforcing rib, and; the at least one curved reinforcing rib extends from a first caster mounting area to a second caster mounting area. Further including, a dolly carrier pallet comprising a pallet provided with a dolly receiving layer, wherein the dolly receiving layer is provided with generally rectangular wheel receiving recesses for receiving swivel casters and is provided with generally rectangular wheel receiving recesses for receiving fixed casters.
Height adjustable support for food processing equipment
A height adjustable support comprising a three-sided support channel, a cylindrical support post positioned within the support channel and at least one saddle brace positioned within the support channel and to partially surround the cylindrical support post. In the present invention, the downward force resulting from the weight of the equipment results in static friction between the saddle brace and the cylindrical support post that is sufficient to hold the equipment surface at a desired height. The height adjustable support may be implemented into hygienically designed food processing equipment to eliminate undesirable bacteria harboring surfaces and to improve height adjustability of the equipment.
Enhanced rack/cabinet mobility and stability for a server rack
A mobility apparatus. The mobility apparatus may include a continuous fixed-length rail attached horizontally to a bottom structural member of the front or the rear of a server rack. The continuous fixed-length rail exceeds a width of the server rack by an equal amount on either side of the server rack. The mobility apparatus also includes a lower rail portion attached to a lower edge of the continuous fixed-length rail; a raised rail portion attached to an extended length of each portion of the continuous fixed-length rail; and at least one wheel attached to an underside of each end of the extended length of the continuous fixed-length rail.
MANUALLY STEERED AUGER MOVER
In an aspect, an auger mover for moving and steering an auger is provided. The auger mover can have a frame having a front end and a rear end, the rear end connectable to an auger axle on the auger, a first pivotal wheel attached to a front end of the frame and pivotal relative to the frame, a second pivotal wheel attached to a front end of the frame and pivotal relative to the frame independently of the first pivotal wheel, an auger connection assembly connected to the frame and connectable to the auger and a steering assembly operatively connected to the first pivotal wheel to pivot the first pivotal wheel.
Patient support apparatus
A patient support apparatus includes a base having a length and including a plurality of caster wheels enabling movement of the patient support apparatus across a floor surface. An auxiliary wheel support structure is secured to the base and rotatably supports at least one non-castered auxiliary wheel about a rotational axis transverse to the length of the base for engagement with the floor surface. The auxiliary wheel support structure may be configured to support the auxiliary wheel and to enable movement of the auxiliary wheel out of engagement with the floor surface to a non-engaged position wherein the at least one auxiliary wheel is out of engagement with the floor surface. A control apparatus is in communication with and moves the at least one auxiliary wheel between at least one deployed position and a non-engaged position.
Caster Wheel
Disclosed are systems and methods for reducing friction on a brake arm of a caster wheel brake. A washer can be positioned between the brake arm and the support arm to reduce friction in this area. Lubricant can also be provided between the brake arm and the support arm, and also between the brake arm and the brake cam, to reduce the friction in these areas. The presently disclosed embodiments therefore allow less force to actuate the brake arm as compared to prior art caster wheels.
Suspension caster with brake lever and wheel fork and yoke portion having common pivot axis
A caster has a yoke portion and wheel forks pivotally connected to the yoke portion at a pivot connection. The pivot connection defines a pivot axis. A wheel is rotatably connected to the wheel fork at a wheel axis. A brake lever is operatively connected to the pivot connection to pivot about the pivot axis. The brake lever moves a brake pad between an engaged position and a disengaged position as the brake lever is pivoted about the pivot axis. In the engaged position, brake pad is pressed against the wheel with a cam operatively connected to the brake lever, and wherein the disengaged position, the cam cooperates with the brake pad in a manner such that the brake pad releases from the wheel.
