Surgical robotic cart with selective wheel alignment
10595944 · 2020-03-24 · ·

A mobile surgical robotic cart assembly includes a vertical column supporting a robotic arm thereon, a base, and a plurality of casters each having wheels and each being attached to the base thereby allowing the surgical robotic assembly to move. Each of the plurality of casters has a wheel alignment assembly configured to lock each of the respective wheels in a plurality of orientations.

Systems and methods for facilitating movement of a patient transport apparatus

Systems and methods for facilitating movement of a patient transport apparatus. The patient transport apparatus has a support structure and a patient support surface. Caster assemblies are coupled to the support structure to roll about a roll axis and swivel about a swivel axis. A control system is configured to control brake mechanisms, steer-lock mechanisms, and pre-swivel mechanisms of the caster assemblies based on one or more inputs.

DUAL-STATE CASTER AND METHOD

A dual-state caster apparatus having a caster head with a state-change pivot configured to change the steering axis of the caster apparatus. A braking system with a brake control cable is incorporated into the caster apparatus wherein the state-change pivot and the braking system are configured to allow a wheel to swivel without interference with the brake control cable.

LOCKABLE WHEELS AND SUBJECT SUPPORT LIFTS INCLUDING A LOCKABLE WHEEL

A subject support lift includes a mast portion, a base portion, and a lockable wheel assembly coupled to the base portion. The lockable wheel assembly includes an axle member, a lockable wheel coupled to the axle member, and a pivot member pivotally coupled to the lockable wheel and defining an axis extending in a vertical direction, where the lockable wheel is rotatable about the axis defined by the pivot member. A locking member is coupled to one of the pivot member or the lockable wheel, the locking member being repositionable between a locked position, in which the locking member engages the other of the pivot member or the lockable wheel, and an unlocked position, in which the locking member is spaced apart from the other of the pivot member or the lockable wheel.

Magnetic apparatus for centering caster wheels

An autonomous delivery vehicle having one or more caster wheels that may be held off the ground for a portion of the time that the autonomous delivery vehicle travels. Each caster wheel is mounted in a pivot with a centering mechanism to hold the caster wheels in a design orientation. The caster wheel in the design orientation maximizes the view of forward-looking sensors on the autonomous delivery vehicle. The centering mechanism uses magnetic attraction/repulsion to center the caster wheel. The centering mechanism may incorporate a plurality of permanent magnets and or electro-magnets.

A castor structure includes a wheel support unit, an operation unit, a locking member, a directional member, a directional brake member, a bent elastic bar, and two resting members. The operation unit includes a drive shank formed with an annular groove which has an upper tapered face and a lower tapered face. The locking member includes a plurality of locking teeth. The directional brake member includes a plurality of directional toothed grooves. The elastic bar extends through the directional member and the annular groove. Thus, the elastic bar is stretched outward by the annular groove of the drive shank when the drive shank is moved downward, to provide a micro-adjustment effect, such that the directional toothed grooves of the directional brake member align with and exactly engage the locking teeth of the locking member.

Force finger

A manually adjustable movable base for an outdoor umbrella includes a base assembly, a screw rod rotatably fitted at the center of the foundation base assembly, a cranking rod which is in transmission fit with the screw rod and is used for driving the screw rod to rotate, a plurality of pull rods rotatably fitted with the base assembly, and a plurality of bottom wheels which are arranged on the base assembly and are correspondingly fitted with the pull rods. The lower end of the screw rod is in threaded connection with a lifting block, and the lifting block is fitted with and connected to the pull rods.

Zero-turn lawn-mower with controllably restrictable movements of front wheels
10464374 · 2019-11-05 ·

A Zero-turn lawn-mower that selectively restricts movement of front wheels to achieve controlled movement while on slope is disclosed herein. Lawn-mower includes a mower frame, at least one front wheel disposed underneath mower frame, at least one cam, an actuating rod and a dawg. The cam is fixedly connected to mower frame and in the vicinity of front wheel and is further defined with a notch. Actuating rod of said lawn mower is swivelably connected to mower frame and operable by a driver, typically by a rod pedal. Dawg extends from actuating rod to selectively engage with notch to restrict angular movement of front wheel and selectively disengage from notch to enable angular movement of front wheel. This provides the user to control drift of the mower on an angled or inclined surface. Furthermore, A spring is provided at other end of pedal to reduce tension and provide smooth rotation of actuation rod.
