ROLLER UNIT HAVING INTEGRATED FASTENING PORTION
A roller unit having an integrated fastening portion includes a supporting shaft fastened to a containing body or a containing main body that can slide and having first and second flanges formed in multi steps with different outer diameters, a rotating body rotatably fixed to a side of the supporting shaft, and a washer coupled to a side of the rotating body to surround and fix the second flange, thereby preventing separation of the supporting shaft and the rotating body. Therefore, it is possible to more conveniently combine the supporting shaft and the rotating body and to prevent separation of the supporting shaft and the rotating body, whereby is possible to improve various functions.
WHEEL ASSEMBLY WITH ROLLING AND SWIVELING CAPABILITY
A wheel assembly having rolling and swiveling capability includes a wheel bracket configured for mounting one or more wheels, a swivel bracket configured for positioning with respect to an object with respect to which the wheel assembly is used, the swivel bracket including a main body and a spindle extending from one side of the main body of the swivel bracket into a receptacle in the wheel bracket, the spindle and receptacle being tapered at different angles to minimize surface to surface engagement during swiveling, a thrust bearing between the swivel bracket and wheel bracket to transfer force between the brackets while assisting to align the brackets, a retention mechanism at the distal end portion of the spindle configured to retain the spindle in the wheel bracket and aligning the spindle with respect to the wheel bracket while permitting the wheel bracket to swivel about the spindle relative to the swivel bracket.
Shield for a caster wheel
A shield 1 for a caster wheel that forms part of a wheeled object, comprising: a perimeter wall 2 configured to extend substantially fully around the caster wheel, and; a connection and supporting means 5, 205 configured to extend from the perimeter wall 2 to connect the shield 1 to the wheeled object; the perimeter wall 2 comprising a resiliently deformable portion 4 that extends substantially fully around the perimeter wall.
ASSEMBLY TYPE FIXTURE AND ASSEMBLING PART OF ASSEMBLY TYPE FIXTURE
Disclosed is an assembly type fixture whose assembling is easy and convenient, and an assembling part of an assembly type fixture. A square pipe having an insertion hole in a front surface plate, and a coupling member having an engagement element that is inserted into the square pipe from an end opening of the square pipe are provided, the engagement element has a pair of long side plate and short side plate that oppose each other and have different front-to-rear lengths from each other, and an intermediate plate that connects the long side plate and the short side plate, and is abutted with and arranged on an inner surface of the square pipe, and the insertion hole is arranged close to the short side plate side.
Retractable furniture caster system
An example article of furniture includes a number of furniture legs having mechanically coupled thereto a respective furniture caster having a rolling component. The furniture casters are movable between (i) an extended position in which their rolling components at least partially extend below bottom surfaces of the furniture legs and (ii) a retracted position in which their rolling components are positioned entirely above the bottom surfaces of the furniture legs. Push-pull cables are mechanically coupled to the furniture casters, and at least one actuator is mechanically coupled to the push-pull cables. When actuated, the actuator applies a pushing force to the push-pull cables, thereby causing the furniture casters to transition from the retracted position to the extended position. When the actuator is not actuated, the pushing force is removed from the push-pull cables, thereby causing the furniture casters to transition from the extended position to the retracted position.
MOVING FOOT BASE OF FURNITURE
A moving foot base of furniture comprises a base body, a center of the base body being provided with an accommodating cavity; universal wheels mounted at a bottom portion of the base body, and rotatably connected with the base body; and a tray, the base body and the universal wheels being all arranged on the tray. According to the moving foot base of furniture, a supporting foot of furniture is placed in the accommodating cavity in the base body, and then the universal wheels are mounted at the bottom portion of the base body to realize movement through the universal wheels to move high-mass furniture easily; and the tray is further arranged below the universal wheels, and the tray with a large area loads the furniture to reduce a pressure on a floor caused by the high-mass furniture, thereby avoiding the floor from being damaged.
Driving wheel and drive unit including the same
A driving wheel includes: a hub body disposed in a central region of the driving wheel; a plurality of spoke members inserted into the hub body and movable in a radial direction R of the driving wheel relative to the hub body; and link members each having one side coupled to one of the spoke members and the other side coupled to another spoke member disposed adjacent to the spoke member to which the one side of the link member is coupled. In particular, when the spoke members move in the radial direction R, the link members are rotatable about regions coupled to the spoke members.
CASTER WITH HORIZONTAL BRAKING
A caster with horizontal braking includes a connecting base, a wheel rotatably connected to the connecting base, and a brake assembly including a movable plate slidably connected to the connecting base and a rotary plate. The movable plate is provided with a brake pad at an end and a first abutting plate with a limiting portion thereon, and is rotatably connected to the connecting base. A second abutting plate fitted with the first abutting plate is arranged on the rotary plate. When the rotary plate is rotated to cause the second abutting plate to push the first abutting plate to move backward, the brake pad moves backward to abut against the wheel, one end of the second abutting plate is abutted against the limiting portion, the force applied by the wheel to the brake pad opposites the force applied by the second abutting plate to the limiting portion.
Furniture rotary system having reduced friction, and a piece of furniture comprising such system
A furniture rotary system for a piece of furniture is provided. The furniture rotary system is forming a sliding rotary connection between a rotational member and a stationary member wherein said furniture rotary system comprises at least one sliding surface being coated with a lacquer comprising a resin, wherein said lacquer in turn is at least partly coated with a lipophilic composition coating to provide a slide layer with a lowered friction.
