A roller assembly for a storage unit enabling rolling of the storage unit on a surface includes a set of bearings and a set of couplers. The bearings are ball transfer type. Each coupler is coupled to a respective bearing and is configured to couple to a bottom of the storage unit so that the coupler is coupled the respective bearing to the bottom of the storage unit. The set of bearings is configured to facilitate rolling of the storage unit and contents thereof along the surface.

A table leg assembly for supporting a table top. The table leg assembly includes a leg member having a lower end that defines an open interior. A tube end insert is received within the open interior at the lower end of each of the leg members. A threaded internal opening of the tube end insert receives an attachment rod of either a caster wheel assembly or a glide assembly. The glide assembly includes a glide member having a support foot mounted to the threaded attachment rod. A spacer is positioned along the attachment rod between the lower end of the leg member and the support foot. The spacer is movable along the attachment rod to cover the threaded attachment rod and lock the glide member in position. A castor suspension system for suspending a first castor at a patient support device is provided. The castor suspension system comprises a pivoting suspension link pivotably attachable to the patient support device, and a springy element comprising a leaf spring made of a band deformed such that the band makes at least one U-turn so that the band has a first leg and at least one second leg. One of the first leg and the at least one second leg is provided with a first support portion supported on the pivoting suspension link, and the other of the first leg and the at least one second leg is provided with a second support portion for supporting the springy element with respect to the patient support device such that the springy element is configured to provide a pre-stress force to the pivoting suspension link.

A flip-top table has a tabletop attached to a frame through a pivoting assembly. The tabletop is made from a ballistic-resistant material allowing it to be used as a ballistic shield when it rotates from its horizontal working position to a vertical shielding position.
