The bead lock ring may be configured to be overlaid on the wheel center section, wherein screws may be inserted through orifices positioned within the bead lock ring and into orifices positioned on the wheel center section.

A vehicle wheel may include a wheel rim and a wheel disc connected to an inner side of the wheel rim. The through-hole is arranged in the tire seat of the rim base and the connecting element is joined substantially in the direction of the radial extension of the wheel disc which is associated to the tire seat on the inner side of the rim. In the method for producing the wheel the connection between wheel rim and wheel disc is produced in the region of the tire seat of the rim base, and, after the insertion of the connecting element into the wheel disc, a portion of the connecting element protruding the contour of the outer side of the rim of the tire seat is shaped so that the connecting element conforms to the contour of the outer side of the rim of the tire seat.

Disclosed is a vehicle wheel having a wheel rim and a wheel disc connected to an inner side of the wheel rim. An example wheel assembly includes a wheel hub including a first bore having a first central axis, and a wheel rim including a second bore having a second central axis. The first central axis is offset from the second central axis. The example wheel assembly includes a wheel stud extending through the first bore and the second bore to couple the wheel rim and the wheel hub. The wheel stud has a first portion proximate to the first bore and a second portion proximate to the second bore. The example wheel assembly includes a wheel nut threaded onto the wheel stud. The first portion of the wheel stud is to move from a first position relative to an axis of rotation of the wheel hub to a second position relative to the axis of rotation when the wheel nut is tightened to fix the wheel rim to the wheel hub.

The invention relates to a manufacturing method and a structure of a wheel rim. The manufacturing method mainly comprises the steps of forming a rim body made of a carbon fiber material in a cavity of a molding die; forming a rim assembly by extruding a metal material and assembling the rim assembly to the rim body; and forming a rim coating by tightly encapsulating a carbon fiber material on a surface of the rim body assembled with the rim assembly.
