Wheel skirt for lockable caster and methods of making
The present disclosure relates to caster wheels having a skirt, specifically a skirt which fits over one side of the wheel only, and thus does not interfere with the actuation of a caster wheel locking mechanism.
BEAD LOCK SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Embodiments disclosed herein describe systems and methods for a bead lock wheel line in scaled vehicles. The bead lock wheel line may include a wheel center section and a bead lock ring. The bead lock ring may be configured to be overlaid on the wheel center section, wherein screws may be inserted through orifices positioned within the bead lock ring and into orifices positioned on the wheel center section.
Method for assembling wheel bearing apparatus
A method for assembling a wheel bearing apparatus includes disposing a positioning jig such that a lateral face of the positioning jig on one side in an axial direction contacts a lateral face of a hub flange on a side of a slinger, the positioning jig having a ring shape separated into a plurality of partial portions arranged in a circumferential direction, a width of the positioning jig in the axial direction being equal to a distance between a lateral face of a disc portion on a side of the hub flange and a lateral face of the hub flange on the side of the slinger, the distance being set to obtain an appropriate interference; and attaching the slinger such that the lateral face of the disc portion on the side of the hub flange contacts a lateral face of the positioning jig on another side in the axial direction.
AXEL ASSEMBLY
An axle assembly having a wheel flange with a central opening and a slot having an end dimensioned to fit within the wheel flange central opening. A molten binder, such as molten zinc, fills the space in between the wheel central opening and the shaft end. Upon cooling, the binder locks the wheel flange and shaft together.

STRUCTURALLY SUPPORTED TIRE
A structurally supported tire includes a ground contacting annular tread portion, an annular hoop structure for supporting a load on the tire, a means for attachment to a vehicle rim, and a ply structure secured to a first axial limit and extending radially outward and between the hoop structure and the tread portion and further extending radially inward from between the hoop structure and tread portion to a second axial limit. The ply structure is secured to both the first axial limit and the second axial limit. The tread portion is secured to a radially outer surface of the ply structure. The hoop structure is secured to a radially inner surface of the ply structure.

VEHICLE WHEEL HAVING A CONNECTION BETWEEN A WHEEL RIM AND A WHEEL DISC AND METHOD FOR THE PRODUCTION THEREOF
Disclosed is a vehicle wheel having a wheel rim and a wheel disc connected to an inner side of the wheel rim. The wheel disc is connected to the wheel rim by a connecting element which is guided through a through-hole of the rim base and inserted in the wheel disc. The through-hole is arranged in the tire seat of the rim base and the connecting element is joined substantially in the direction of the radial extension of the wheel disc which is associated to the tire seat on the inner side of the rim. In the method for producing the wheel the connection between wheel rim and wheel disc is produced in the region of the tire seat of the rim base, and, after the insertion of the connecting element into the wheel disc, a portion of the connecting element protruding the contour of the outer side of the rim of the tire seat is shaped so that the connecting element conforms to the contour of the outer side of the rim of the tire seat.
