Device for handling tires
There is provided a device for handling tires having an anchor for attaching to a prime mover and a clamping device rotatably mounted to the anchor that rotates relative to the anchor about a rotation axis. The clamping device has a plurality of engagement members connected by a mechanical linkage and a carrying body with a plurality of guides. The weight distribution of the clamping device is balanced about the rotation axis. Each guide carries one of the engagement members and is oriented to allow the engagement members to move perpendicular to the rotation axis between clamping and release positions. The mechanical linkage includes a rotating actuator and controls movement of the engagement members along the guides. The movement of each engagement member is rotationally symmetric about the rotation axis relative to the movement of the other engagement members. The device has an actuator that actuates the mechanical linkage.

Aircraft Wheel & Bearing Protectors with Integrated Internal Protection Protrusion and Fastening Member Guide
An aircraft wheel hub protector is adapted to engage an aircraft wheel including an aircraft tire on a rim. The aircraft wheel hub protector having two or more cover sections with a protective protrusion and coupling mechanism guide extending from the a first cover section and passing through a bearing race and internal surface within a hub of the rim of the aircraft wheel in such a fashion so as to provide a void within the protective protrusion. The second cover section is engaged with an opposed side of the aircraft wheel from the first cover section. A coupling mechanism passes through the void in the protective protrusion without having contact with the bearing race and internal surfaces within the hub of the rim and coupling the first cover section and securing the aircraft wheel hub protector to the aircraft wheel.
Lifting device and method for installing and uninstalling a wheel using such a lifting device
The invention relates to a lifting device for lifting loads, vehicles, or the like, comprising a mobile base frame (12); a lifting column (14) provided on the base frame (12); a support (15), said lifting column (14) and support (15) being guided by a guide (45); a load receiving means (20) which is arranged on the support (15) and by means of which a load receiving region (21) is determined, said base frame (12) having at least three support points outside of the load receiving region (21) of the load receiving means (20); and a drive unit which can be controlled by a controller and which moves the support (14) up and down relative to the lifting column (14). The lifting column (14) is arranged on the base frame (12) eccentrically to the load receiving region (21) and in a rotated manner relative to a longitudinal side of the load receiving region (20).

Aircraft Wheel & Bearing Protectors with Integrated Internal Protection Protrusion and Fastening Member Guide
An aircraft wheel hub protector is adapted to engage an aircraft wheel including an aircraft tire on a rim. The aircraft wheel hub protector having two or more cover sections with one or more protective protrusions. The one or more protrusions retain one or more bearing races in a support section of the hub and protect an internal surface within an axle void within the hub of the rim of the aircraft wheel. The second cover section is engaged with an opposed side of the aircraft wheel from the first cover section. A coupling mechanism is provided on or engaging the at least one protective protrusion and coupling the first cover section and second cover section together, thereby securing the aircraft wheel hub protector to the aircraft wheel and retaining the at least one bearing race.
