FLEXIBLE WHEEL ASSEMBLY
A wheel assembly comprising a wheel disk and a tread member disposed around the wheel disk. The wheel disk can have a substantially conical shape when in an unloaded state, but be flexible such that it can deform under load to optimize and/or maximize contact area between the tread member and a driving surface.
Low-friction sealing assembly for a wheel-hub unit and wheel-hub unit equipped with such a sealing assembly
Low-friction sealing assembly for a vehicle wheel-hub unit inserted inside an annular interspace defined between a flanged rotating element and a stationary element, coaxial with each other, of the wheel-hub unit to protect at least one ring of revolving bodies arranged between the stationary element and the rotating element, and having a first annular screen and a second annular screen during use integral with the rotating element and with the stationary element; and an annular seal having lips that extend axially and radially projecting from the first screen towards the second screen inside an annular chamber defined by the first and second screens; the sealing assembly being a multi-stage sealing assembly provided with a first inner collecting stage designed to collect and expel some of the contaminants.
Flexible wheel rim with floating hooks
Vehicle rim for the mounting of a tire, comprising: an axially central part (20) comprising a disc; two lateral parts (31, 32), at least one of the lateral parts being separate from the axially central part, each of the lateral parts having a rim seat receiving a bead of a tire, the axially central part and the two lateral parts being made from a rigid matrix reinforced by a plurality of reinforcement elements; an intermediate part (41, 42) linking the axially central part and each lateral part separate therefrom, this intermediate part being made of a flexible matrix reinforced by a reinforcement, wherein 1 MPathe Young's modulus of uniaxial extension of the flexible matrix100 MPa, the Young's modulus of uniaxial extension of the reinforcement elements is5 GPa; wherein the Young's modulus of uniaxial extension of the rigid matrix is5 GPa.
WHEELS FOR NON-MOTORIZED VEHICLES
A wheel for a non-motorized vehicle (e.g., a shopping cart) can include a housing assembly and a tread assembly. The housing assembly can be configured to sealingly house electronics or other components. The tread assembly can removably mate with the housing assembly such that the electronics or other components remain closed and/or sealed within the housing assembly when the tread assembly is mated or unmated with the housing assembly.
TIRE WITH SPOKE LOOPS
A nonpneumatic tire assembly includes an outer hoop, a plurality of loops extending inward from the outer hoop, and a hub having a plurality of members. Each of the plurality of members is connected to one of the plurality of loops.
ELECTROMOBILITY VEHICLE
This electromobility vehicle includes a vehicle frame, a seat unit mounted to the vehicle frame, a suspension mounted to a front-end side of the vehicle frame, a pair of front wheels aligned in a direction parallel to a width dimension of the vehicle and supported by the suspension, at least one rear wheel supported by the vehicle frame, and a drive device that drives either of the front wheels and the rear wheel, where the front wheels are omnidirectional wheels whose outer circumferential surfaces are formed by a plurality of rollers and the pair of front wheels is supported by the suspension such that it is placed in a toe-in arrangement.
ROTATION INDICATOR DEVICE
There is provided a rotation indicator device for mounting onto a polygonal fastener, such as a wheel nut. The device comprises a body having a bore. A pair of tapered regions, which are formed of a resilient material, extend around a periphery the bore, each of the regions being resiliently deformable to, in use, securely and releasably mount the body onto the polygonal fastener such that a rotation of the device relative to the polygonal fastener is inhibited. The device may be used as a safety device to indicate the rotation, i.e. loosening, of the polygonal fastener.
Deformable wheel assembly
A locomotion assembly is provided, suitable to be used in a vehicle. The locomotion assembly comprises a frustum-conical structure comprising at least one flexible member having a frustum-conical surface extending between its relatively narrow and wide ends along a frustum-conical axis, the frustum-conical member being reversibly deformable from its biased rounded shape corresponding to a frustum-conical shape in which its side elevation is circular into a deformed frustum-conical shape in which its side elevation is non-circular. The frustum-conical structure may serve for supporting at least one surface-engaging member convertible between a round wheel-like configuration, in which its side elevation is substantially circular, and a deformed configuration, in which its side elevation is non-circular and in which a larger portion of the surface-engaging member is in contact with a movement surface.
Non-pneumatic tire
Provided is a non-pneumatic tire having excellent durability performance. This non-pneumatic tire is provided with an annular tread portion which contacts the road surface, an annular inner peripheral portion which is positioned radially inward of the tread portion, and multiple linking units which join the tread portion and the inner peripheral portion. The tread portion includes a first portion which contacts the road surface, and a second portion which includes an inner peripheral surface facing the inner peripheral portion. The thermal conductivity of the second portion is greater than that of the first portion.
FARM IRRIGATION WHEEL
A wheel having a circular ring is provided. The circular ring has a rotational axis and an outer surface. A plurality of lugs is mounted in side-by-side positions on said outer surface of the circular ring. Each lug of the plurality of lugs has: a center rib, a first leg and a second leg, each leg extending from the center rib laterally and opposite of each other, and a plate adapted to connect the first leg to the center rib. The outermost point of each center rib may form a circular pattern that is coaxial with the rotational axis. The wheel may have a rim nested within said circular ring, said rim having a plurality of alternating scalloped protrusions. The plurality of lugs may include high traction lugs having plates with distal edges configured to radially extend beyond the center rib to provide traction to the wheel on difficult terrain.
