Disclosed herein are methods for degrading polyurethane foam from mounted polyurethane foam-containing tires, methods for separating a wheel from a mounted polyurethane foam-containing tire, methods for preparing a degradable foam-containing tire, and degradable foam-containing tires. The methods include applying a solution comprising at least one phosphorous oxoacid or an ester thereof to the polyurethane foam inside of a tire, incorporating a degradant comprising at least one phosphorous oxoacid or an ester thereof into the polyurethane foam, or both, and then heating to degrade the foam. Degradation of the foam allows for separation of the wheel from the rubber carcass of the tire.

A radial tire (10), with the sidewalls thereof (20), and the tread thereof (30) arranged for minimizing the temperature of the tire while guaranteeing its electrical conductivity. The tread (30) comprises two wings (311, 312) and a central portion (32). These components rest on a base layer (33) radially on the inside of the tread (30). The base layer (33) contains a lateral portion (331, 332) partly in contact with a tread wing (311, 312). This structure of the crown of the tire, in contact with the carcass reinforcement makes it possible to constitute a preferential conductive pathway of the electric charges between the rim and the ground when the tire is mounted on its rim and flattened on the ground.

The present invention provides a rubber composition for tires which provides improved abrasion resistance, and a pneumatic tire containing the rubber composition. The present invention relates to a rubber composition for tires containing a rubber component including at least 80% by mass in total of at least one of an isoprene-based rubber, a polybutadiene rubber, or a styrene-butadiene rubber, the rubber composition containing, per 100 parts by mass of the rubber component, 3 to 250 parts by mass of a reinforcing filler and 0.2 to 10 parts by mass of a specific tetrazine compound.
Rubber composition, processing method thereof, and rubber product using the same
The present invention discloses a rubber composition, production method thereof and a rubber product using the same. The rubber composition includes a rubber matrix and essential components. Based on 100 parts by weight of the rubber matrix, the rubber matrix includes a branched polyethylene with a content represented as A, in which 0<A≤100, and an EPM and an EPDM with a total content represented as B, in which 0≤B<100; and the essential components include 1.5 to 10 parts of a crosslinking agent and 40 to 200 parts of a reinforcing filler. The reinforcing filler includes carbon black and silica and can also include any one or more of calcium carbonate, talcum powder, calcined clay, magnesium silicate, and magnesium carbonate, wherein the content of the carbon black is 5 to 100 parts, and the content of the silica is 5 to 60 parts. The rubber composition is used for producing rubber product with better yield and tear strength and service performance. The rubber product include high-strength insulation compound for preparing wire and cable, waterproof coil, and high-temperature resistant conveyor belt.

The present invention relates to a tyre for bicycle wheels comprising a tread band containing an anti-puncture system capable of offering high resistance to the penetration of foreign bodies. In particular, the present invention relates to a tyre (100) for bicycle wheels comprising: —a carcass structure (2); and —a tread band (7) arranged in a radially outer position with respect to said carcass structure (2); characterised in that said tread band (7) is made by vulcanisation of a vulcanisable elastomeric compound comprising fibrillated polymeric fibres of micrometric dimensions, wherein at least one protective layer (6, 11) is interposed between said carcass structure (2) and said tread band (7), said protective layer (6, 11) comprising (i) a plurality of reinforcing cords of textile material oriented with respect to the equatorial plane of the tyre with an angle greater than 30°, (ii) a square fabric with textile fibres of the weft or warp oriented with respect to the equatorial plane of the tyre with an angle greater than 20°, or (iii) a non-woven fabric with randomly oriented textile fibres.

The present disclosure provides methods for producing an olefin polymer by contacting a C.sub.3-C.sub.40 olefin, ethylene and a diene with a catalyst system including an activator and a metallocene catalyst compound comprising a substituted or unsubstituted indacenyl group and obtaining a C.sub.3-C.sub.40 olefin-ethylene-diene terpolymer typically comprising from 1 to 35 mol % of ethylene, from 98.9 to 65 mol % C.sub.3-C.sub.40 olefin, and, optionally, from 0.1 to 10 mol % diene. Preferably, a propylene-ethylene-ethylidene norbornene is obtained.
