A tire is provided with an outer sidewall, said outer sidewall comprising at least one composition based on at least one thermoplastic elastomer comprising at least one elastomer block and at least one thermoplastic block, a butadiene elastomer, 10 to 100 phr of carbon black, 0.6 to 1.9 phr of polyethylene oxide with a weight-average molecular weight Mw within a range extending from 250 to 550 g/mol, and a crosslinking system.
Rubber Composition for Use in Tires
A rubber composition for use in tires comprises: WT part(s) by weight of an aromatic modified terpene resin having a softening point of 100° C. or higher per 100 parts by weight of a diene rubber, the diene rubber containing a total of 50% by weight or greater but less than 90% by weight of a butadiene rubber and an emulsion-polymerized styrene butadiene rubber, wherein the butadiene rubber is contained in an amount of 35% by weight or greater but less than 65% by weight and the emulsion-polymerized styrene butadiene rubber is contained in an amount so that an amount of bonded styrene is 35% by weight or greater. In the rubber composition, the ratio of the compounded amount of the butadiene rubber (WB part(s) by weight) to the compounded amount of the aromatic modified terpene resin (WB/WT) is from 2.5 to 5.0.
RUBBER COMPOUND FOR TIRES, PNEUMATIC TIRE, AND AN AIRLESS TIRE
To provide a rubber compound for tires, a pneumatic tire and an airless tire capable of improving the steering stability of the tire while exerting excellent low fuel consumption performance. A rubber compound for tires characterized in that, of vulcanized rubber's physical properties, a complex elastic modulus E*.sub.70 (unit: MPa) and a loss tangent tanδ.sub.70 under initial strain of 10%, dynamic strain of 2% and temperature of 70 degrees C., satisfy 90<E.sub.70<250, and E*.sub.70/tan δ.sub.70>800. A pneumatic tire provided with a rubber member made of the above-mentioned rubber compound. An airless tire provided with a rubber member made of the above-mentioned rubber compound. An airless tire provided in a tread ring with a shear rubber layer made of the above-mentioned rubber compound.
RUBBER COMPOSITION FOR TIRE OUTER LAYER, AND PNEUMATIC TIRE
The invention aims to provide a rubber composition for outer layers of tires capable of reducing the generation of odors while maintaining or improving good elongation at break and processability, and a pneumatic tire using the same. Included is a rubber composition for outer layers of tires, including: a rubber component; a nonionic surfactant or polyethylene glycol; and a vulcanization accelerator represented by formula (1) below, the rubber component including a diene rubber in an amount of 70-100% by mass based on 100% by mass of the rubber component, the rubber composition including, per 100 parts by mass of the rubber component, 0.2-6.0 parts by mass of the nonionic surfactant or polyethylene glycol, 0.2-10 parts by mass of the vulcanization accelerator, and not more than 0.5 parts by mass of N-tert-butyl-2-benzothiazolylsulfenamide,

Rubber composition and pneumatic tire
A rubber composition comprising a diene rubber, a tackifier comprising a resin having a weight average molecular weight of from 1,500 to 2,500, and a wax is disclosed. The wax contains from 20.0 to 40.0 mass % of a linear saturated hydrocarbon having from 25 to 30 carbon atoms, from 8.0 to 18.0 mass % of a linear saturated hydrocarbon having from 35 to 40 carbon atoms, and from 1.0 to 6.0 mass % of a linear saturated hydrocarbon having 45 or more carbon atoms. The amount of the tackifier added is larger than the amount of the wax added.

ELASTOMER LAMINATE COMPRISING THREE LAYERS
An elastomer laminate comprising three layers is provided. The first layer consists of a diene rubber composition comprising a first elastomer matrix, the second layer consists of a diene rubber composition comprising a second elastomer matrix, which second elastomer matrix comprises a second elastomer comprising ethylene units and diene units comprising a carbon-carbon double bond, which units are randomly distributed within the second elastomer, and the third layer consists of a diene rubber composition comprising a third diene elastomer having a content by weight of diene units of greater than 50% The second layer is arranged between the first layer and the third layer. Such a laminate has good resistance to separation of the layers which constitute it.

Provided is a tire capable of maintaining excellent appearance over a long time. A tire comprises a polyurethane foam layer laminated on an outer layer of the tire, wherein, in the polyurethane foam layer, a binder layer is provided on a surface of a polyurethane foam.
PROTECTIVE TIRE SIDEWALL COATING
Tires having a sidewall that is covered with a protective coating that may cover the exposed surface of one or both of the sidewalls. The protective coating is a rubber composition that is based upon a cross-linkable elastomer composition that includes, per 100 parts by weight of rubber, ), between 25 phr and 45 phr of natural rubber, between 25 phr and 45 phr of polybutadiene rubber and between 30 phr and 40 phr of EPDM. Additionally the rubber composition may include between 20 phr and 50 phr of carbon black and a curing system. The curing system may be a peroxide curing system. In addition, the protective coating may be applied to the sidewall at a thickness of between 0.4 mm and 1 mm.
