A reinforced product, which can be used especially for reinforcing a finished rubber article, comprises one or more textile or metallic reinforcing thread(s), said thread(s) being covered with a sheath comprising a thermoplastic polymer composition, the sheathed thread(s) being themselves embedded in a rubber composition referred to as coating rubber, characterized in that this coating rubber is a composition based on at least one diene elastomer, a reinforcing filler, and a sulfur-based vulcanization system, in which the ratio of the amounts, in phr (parts by weight per hundred parts by weight of elastomer), of sulfur and of reinforcing filler, is less than 0.08.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
The present invention provides a pneumatic tire with well improved fuel economy, rubber tensile strength, and abrasion resistance. The present invention relates to a pneumatic tire formed from a rubber composition, the rubber composition containing: a hydrogenated copolymer obtained by copolymerization of an aromatic vinyl compound and a conjugated diene compound, the hydrogenated copolymer having a degree of hydrogenation of the conjugated diene units of 75 mol % or more; silica; and a silane coupling agent 1 containing a carbonylthio group (—S—C(═O)—) but no mercapto group (—SH) and/or a silane coupling agent 2 containing a mercapto group (—SH), the rubber composition containing, per 100% by mass of a rubber component, 75% by mass or more of the hydrogenated copolymer.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
Provided is a pneumatic tire. A belt cover layer made of an organic fiber cord spirally wound along the tire circumferential direction is provided on the outer circumferential side of a belt layer in a tread portion, and a polyethylene terephthalate fiber cord of which the elastic modulus under a load of 2.0 cN/dtex at 100° C. is in the range of 3.5 cN/(tex.Math.%) to 5.5 cN/(tex.Math.%) is used as the organic fiber cord. The coating rubber covering the organic fiber cord contains one or more of natural rubber, styrene-butadiene rubber, or butadiene rubber as a rubber component. The coating rubber is formed of a rubber composition in which the content of natural rubber in the rubber component is 50 mass % or more, and 5.0 parts by mass to 9.0 parts by mass of zinc oxide is blended per 100 parts by mass of the rubber component.
Copolymer, production method for copolymer, rubber composition, and tire
An object of the present disclosure is to provide a copolymer containing at least an acyclic non-conjugated olefin unit and a conjugated diene unit and capable of improving an elastic modulus of a rubber composition. Specifically, the present disclosure provides a copolymer containing at least an acyclic non-conjugated olefin unit and a conjugated diene unit, wherein the difference (T.sub.em−T.sub.im) between an extrapolated melting end temperature (T.sub.em) as measured in accordance with JIS K7121 and an extrapolated melting initiation temperature (T.sub.im) as measured in accordance with JIS K7121 is not higher than 60° C.
Tire
A tire includes a circular tire frame body formed of a resin-containing material. The resin material has a sea-island structure including a sea phase constituted by a first resin material and an island phase constituted by a second resin material, and the island phase is harder than the sea phase.
Rubber composition
A rubber composition based at least on a functional elastomer and a reinforcing filler which comprises a carbon black is provided. The functional elastomer is a diene elastomer which comprises diene units in the cis-1,4 configuration and pendant groups of formula (I). The Y.sub.1, Y.sub.2, Y.sub.3 and Y.sub.4 symbols, which are identical or different, represent an atom or a group of atoms, and at least one of the symbols denotes an attachment to a diene unit of the elastomer. The diene units in the cis-1,4 configuration represent at least 90 mol % of the diene units of the functional elastomer, and the carbon black represents more than 50% by weight of the reinforcing filler. ##STR00001##
METHOD FOR PRODUCING A PRODUCT REINFORCED BY A REINFORCING ELEMENT
A process for the manufacture of a reinforced product comprising a matrix based on a composition and at least one reinforcing element, the reinforcing elements being embedded in the matrix, comprises: mixing of the composition based on: a compound A1 with a melting point T1, and a compound A2 with a melting point T2, at a temperature Tm such that: T1≤Tm<T2, so as to dissolve A2 in A1 and to obtain the composition in the liquid state; submerging of the reinforcing element(s) (36) in the composition; and crosslinking by heating of the composition at a temperature Tn such that: T1≤Tm<Tn.
TIRE
The bead portion of a pneumatic tire has a bead structure including a bead core having a bead cord covered with a resin material, and a bead filler continuous to the bead core and formed of the resin material and tapered outside in the tire radial direction. The bead structure has a weld line of the resin material. The weld line is formed inside in the tire radial direction more than ⅔ of the total height along the tire radial direction of the bead structure.
RUBBER-STEEL CORD COMPOSITE AND PNEUMATIC TIRE USING THE SAME
A rubber-steel cord composite in which a rubber composition and a steel cord are vulcanized and adhere to each other, wherein the rubber composition contains 1 to 10 parts by mass of a vulcanizing agent, 0.1 to 5 parts by mass of N,N-dibenzylbenzothiazole-2-sulfenamide, and 0.1 to 5 parts by mass of a bismaleimide compound, with respect to 100 parts by mass of diene rubber containing natural rubber.
RUBBER-STEEL CORD COMPOSITE AND PNEUMATIC TIRE
A rubber-steel cord composite according to an embodiment is formed by vulcanizing and bonding a rubber composition containing 1 to 10 parts by mass of sulfur, 0.1 to 5 parts by mass of N,N-dibenzylbenzothiazole-2-sulfenamide, and 0.1 to 5 parts by mass of either one or both of hexamethylene bis-thiosulfate disodium salt dihydrate and 1,6-bis(N,N-dibenzylthiocarbamoyldithio)hexane, with respect to 100 parts by mass of diene rubber containing natural rubber, and a steel cord. A pneumatic tire according to an embodiment includes the rubber-steel cord composite.
