The plurality of cords each has a ratio D/d of the average cord diameter D to the outer diameter d being equal to or more than 28. The ratio D/d and the loss tangent tan δ of the sidewall rubber satisfy the following formula;
(tan δ)/(D/d)*1000≤5.5.
Agricultural Vehicle Tire Comprising a Single-Layer Carcass Reinforcement
A tire for an agricultural vehicle (1), and in particular the carcass reinforcement (4) thereof, for a tire running at low pressure on loose ground, is to reduce the compaction of the ground and to increase the traction capability by reducing the structural stiffness of the tire. According to the invention, the carcass reinforcement (4) is made up of a single carcass layer (41) having a mean thickness E at most equal to 2 mm and a breaking strength Fr, expressed in daN/cm, that satisfies the relationship:
Fr>=Fs=(Cs*Pmax*10.sup.−3)*((R.sup.2−((R+Rj)/2).sup.2)/2)/Rj, with Fs: reference threshold strength (in daN/cm) Cs: safety factor at least equal to 1, Pmax: recommended maximum inflation pressure (in kPa), R=D/2: outside radius of the tire (in mm), Rj=Dj/2: nominal radius of the rim (in mm).
VEHICLE TIRE HAVING A BELT BANDAGE
The present invention relates to a vehicle tire comprising a belt bandage, wherein the belt bandage comprises strength members, wherein the strength members comprise hybrid cords arranged parallel to one another within the ply, and wherein the hybrid cords each contain at least one yarn made of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and at least one yarn made of polyamide.
According to the invention the PET of the yarn of the hybrid cord of the belt bandage is recycled PET (rPET).
Tire comprising working layers having an improved architecture
Tire comprising at least one working layer (41). The radially outermost one thereof comprises at least one undulation (412) radially on the outside of the points of the working layer (41) that are in line with the centre of the bottom face (243) of the major groove (24) closest to undulation (412). The undulation (412) of the radially outermost working layer (41) is such that, over at least 10% of the radially outer surface (ROS) of the said working layer (41), the radial distance (do) between the radially outer surface (ROS) and the tread surface (21) is at least 1 mm less than the radial distance (dc) between the radially outer surface (ROS) and the tread surface (21), which is the distance in line with the centre of the bottom face (243) of the major groove (24) closest to the said undulation (412).
