Side regions located outward of shoulder regions of a tread portion in a tire lateral direction are each provided with a pair of side blocks opposite each other across a side groove extending in the tire lateral direction, iteration elements each including the side groove and the pair of side blocks are arranged at an interval in a tire circumferential direction. A road contact surface of each of the side blocks has a recess/protrusion shape including a reference surface located on a side closer to the side groove and a step portion located on a side farther from the side groove and raised from the reference surface. The side groove includes a raised bottom portion raised from a groove bottom and coupling the pair of side blocks.
Pneumatic tire
A pneumatic tire includes a first land portion that is provided on a sidewall portion, projects to an outer side in a tire width direction, and extends in a tire circumferential direction over the entire tire circumferential direction, and a plurality of second land portions that are provided in a central portion in a tire radial direction of the first land portion, project to an outer side in the tire width direction, extend in the tire circumferential direction, and are disposed apart from each other in the tire circumferential direction.
Tire, the sidewall of which comprises ribs
Tire (1) comprising a carcass reinforcement (2) surmounted by a crown reinforcement (3), itself capped by a tread (7), the said tread being connected to two beads (6) via two sidewalls (4) each having an exterior surface (40), at least one of the said sidewalls comprising at least two circumferential protrusions (5a, 5b, 5c), each sidewall (4) comprising an equator point (E) situated on the exterior surface of the sidewall radially at the same position as the axially outermost point (20) of the carcass reinforcement (2) in the unladen reference configuration, each circumferential protrusion (5a, 5b, 5c) being bounded by a radially upper wall (51), by a radially lower wall (52), and by a connecting wall (53) situated between the radially upper wall (51) and the radially lower wall (52) tire.
DEVICE FOR PROTECTING A TYRE SIDEWALL
A device for protecting the tire of a wheel, includes a shield having a polymer material; a crown for mounting the protection device on a rim of the wheel, the crown being secured to the shield and including: a connection portion for securely connecting the crown to the shield; a mounting portion, forming a single piece with the connection portion, provided with a plurality of orifices for mounting the crown on the rim, the mounting portion including a plurality of lug-shaped protuberances distributed along the circumference of the mounting portion while being angularly spaced from each other, each protuberance radially protruding towards the center of the crown and comprising an orifice.
Pneumatic tire and method of manufacturing pneumatic tire
A pneumatic tire is provided with a carcass layer and a sidewall rubber disposed on an outer side in a tire width direction of the carcass layer. Additionally, the pneumatic tire is provided with a resin coating applied on a predetermined region of a sidewall portion. Additionally, a minimum value of a wall thickness t of a rubber of the sidewall portion in the region applied with the resin coating is in a range of 0.05 mm≤t≤4.0 mm. Additionally, a thickness of the resin coating is in a range of 20 μm or more and 300 μm or less.
Pneumatic tire
A pneumatic tire includes: sidewall portions positioned on both sides in a tire lateral direction; bead portions positioned toward the inside of the respective sidewall portions in a tire radial direction; a plurality of protectors extending in a tire circumferential direction and projecting from a surface of the sidewall portion in the sidewall portion of at least one of the sidewall portions, provided within a range of from 30% to 70% of a tire cross-sectional height from an inner end of the bead portions in the tire radial direction toward an outer side in the tire radial direction; and a plurality of helical reinforcing members each formed in a helical shape and disposed inside the plurality of protectors, the helical reinforcing members each having a central axis of the helical shape, the central axis extending in the tire circumferential direction.
Tire
A tire includes a projection disposed between a tread end and a maximum width position on a side surface. The projection includes a groove that extends through an outer side surface in a circumferential direction. The tire is preferably produced by using a mold which has a first part and a second part and in which a dividing line between the first and the second parts extends in the circumferential direction and comes into contact with the side surface, and the groove preferably overlaps an imaginary line, on the side surface, corresponding to the dividing line. A width of the groove is preferably not less than 1.5 mm and preferably not greater than 3.0 mm.
Pneumatic tire
A tire includes side protectors arranged in a sidewall portion. Each of the side protectors is provided with a groove. The groove includes a first inclined groove portion inclined to a first side with respect to the tire radial direction, or a second inclined groove portion inclined to a second side opposite to the first side with respect to the tire radial direction. The side protectors include first protectors each provided with the first inclined groove portion, and second protectors each provided with the second inclined groove portion.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
A pneumatic tire includes a block group including shoulder blocks adjacent to each other with a shoulder lug groove therebetween and side blocks adjacent to each other with a side groove positioned on an extension of a shoulder lug groove between the shoulder blocks. Contour lines of side surfaces of the shoulder blocks on the outer side in the tire width direction and contour lines of the top surfaces of the side blocks extend on identical straight lines. Contour lines of the top surfaces of the side blocks, contour lines on a side away from the side groove between the side blocks, and contour lines of the narrow grooves formed on the side blocks each include straight portions extending along the tire radial direction on the side of the shoulder blocks and inclined portions extending in a converging manner toward the side groove between the side blocks.
Pneumatic tire
A pneumatic tire comprises a puncture prevention member adhered to at least a part of an inner surface of a tire body, wherein the puncture prevention member includes one or more protective layers each of which includes: an internal pressure retention layer; and a protective material located on a tire outer surface side of the internal pressure retention layer in at least a part of an extending region of the internal pressure retention layer.
