MOTORCYCLE TIRE
A motorcycle tire includes a pair of bead portions each with a bead core therein, the pair of bead portions including a pair of rim contact surfaces that comes into contact with a standard wheel rim under a standard-rim mounted condition. Each rim contact surface includes a bead bottom surface, a bead side surface, and a bead heel surface connecting the bead bottom surface and the bead side surface. Under a virtual-rim mounted condition, in at least one of the pair of bead portions, a diameter of an intersection of a virtual first straight line expanded outwardly in the tire axial direction from the bead bottom surface and a virtual second straight line expanded inwardly in the radial direction from the bead side surface is 99.0% to 99.6% of a rim diameter of the standard wheel rim.
Annular wheel-trim for vehicle floating-seat rim flange, and assembly made up of an annular wheel-trim and of an adapter for a floating-seat wheel
An annular wheel-trim 1 for a wheel 2 that has a floating tyre seat 2, comprising rim lateral parts 251, each rim lateral part comprising a tyre seat 253 extended axially outwards by a flange 254, comprises fixing elements able to provide removable attachment to the flange 254.
A TIRE HAVING RECESSES IN BEAD AREA
The tire comprises a pair of bead regions having an annular reinforcing structure and at least one carcass reinforcement which is anchored in the pair of bead regions. A protector portion is positioned axially outward and radially inward from the annular reinforcing structure. The protector portion includes a protector surface intended to come into contact with a rim flange and/or a rim sheet of a wheel rim and is provided with at least 2 recessed portions recessed from the protector surface toward an interior of the tire with a depth D. The at least 2 recessed portions have a minimum distance T between one another, and a Young's modulus E of a rubber composition constituting the protector portion is in a range from 1.5 to 6.0 MPa.

Adapter for a wheeled assembly and a wheeled assembly comprising same
An adapter for a rolling assembly having an axis of rotation (YY′), the rolling assembly comprising a tyre having two beads, and a rim having two rim bead seats, for each bead, provides the connection between the bead and the rim, the said adapter comprising an axially inner end connected to the rim, an axially outer end comprising an outer reinforcing element and intended to come into contact, via a substantially radial axially inner face, or bearing face, with a bead, a body connecting the axially outer end to the axially inner end so as to form a single piece, comprising at least one main reinforcement providing the connection between the outer reinforcing element and the inner reinforcing element, and comprising a substantially axial adapter seat intended to come into contact with a bead. The outer reinforcing element is completely axially on the outside of the bearing face, and the outer reinforcing element is a substantially annular structure, referred to as a bead wire, of polygonal section, comprising an individual metal wire of diameter D1, the said wire being coated in an elastomer composition and wound contiguously around a support at least three times in an axial direction and at least twice in a radial direction.
Reinforced bicycle rim
A bicycle rim assembly includes a rim defining a central plane and comprising annular inner and outer walls. The outer wall includes first and second bead seats separated by a center well. First and second annular projections are spaced laterally from each other relative to the central plane and extend substantially radially outwardly from the outer wall. Each of the annular projections includes a radially outer face and a laterally inner face. Right and left covers are spaced from each other and are preferably coupled to the rim to cover at least a portion of the laterally inner face and the radially outer face of the first and second annular projections, respectively, and also the first and second bead seats, respectively. One or both of the right and left covers can be fiber reinforced. First and second pieces of tape can be overlapped and used to secure the covers to the rim.
ADAPTER FOR MOUNTED ASSEMBLY, COMPRISING A REFERENCE LAYER
In a rolling assembly comprising a tyre (P), an adapter (A) provides the connection between one of the beads (B) and the rim (J) of the rolling assembly, the adapter (A) comprising: a substantially axial body (11) comprising at least one main reinforcement (17) comprising one first (18) and one second (19) reinforcing ply each comprising reinforcers coated in elastomer composition referred to as skim rubber (31); a layer (30) of elastomer composition in a colour other than black, also referred to as coloured rubber, positioned as desired—in place of the skim rubber (31) with which the reinforcers of each ply are coated, or in place of the skim rubber (31) with which the reinforcers are coated and placed only on the exterior periphery of the reinforcing plies, or on the outside of the skim rubber (31).
