20260042323 · 2026-02-12 ·

A tyre inflating device (100) includes an air feed line (200), an inflating module (300), including a primary valve (301) movable between a closed position and an open position for closing and opening the feed line (200) and an auxiliary safety module (700), including a secondary valve (500), movable between a closed position and an open position for closing and opening the feed line (200); a pressure sensor (600), configured to detect a pressure value downstream of the inflating module (300) and a control unit (800) programmed to control the secondary valve (500) as a function of the pressure value detected by the pressure sensor (600).

TIRE INFLATION SYSTEM FOR HEAVY-DUTY VEHICLES

A mechanical fluid pressure regulator comprising a regulator portion for housing components of a valve assembly, a pilot port for receiving a control pressure, an exhaust port, and first and second structures disposed within the regulator. The regulator portion has a supply port for receiving a supply pressure and a delivery port for providing a delivery pressure, the delivery port being in selective fluid communication with the supply port. The at least one exhaust port is in selective fluid communication between the delivery port and the external environment. The first structure is adjustable for establishing a maximum threshold pressure without regard to the control pressure. The second structure affects the response of the regulator portion to the supply and delivery pressures. The control pressure cooperates with the first and second structures to proportionally reduce the delivery pressure from the maximum threshold pressure established by the first structure.

Underseat air compressor system

An under-seat compressor system has been developed to provide a convenient way to adjust tire pressure in a vehicle. The system includes a mounting bracket that mounts to a crossmember under the seat in the vehicle. The mounting bracket is designed to secure an air compressor under the seat of the vehicle without discarding or replacing of any seat fasteners used to secure the seat to the vehicle. In one form, the air compressor is powered by an Energy Storage System (ESS), such as a battery, located towards the rear of the vehicle. A wire harness, which is routed under the floor lining, connects the air compressor to the ESS.

PNEUMATIC SYSTEM

A pneumatic system comprises a compressor and an air dryer for supplying a first set of consumers in a main circuit having multi-circuit protection valve system and at least one further consumer is a subsidiary circuit. A selection valve is used to control the coupling of the output of the air dryer to either the main circuit or the subsidiary circuit. The supply is provided to the subsidiary circuit only when a fluid pressure associated in the main circuit exceeds a threshold.
