Systems and methods for tire warmup and vehicle launch optimization
Methods and systems are provided for warming vehicle tires prior to a vehicle launch event. In one example, a method may include, in response to an initiation of a burn out event while locking non-driven wheel brakes, adjusting a spinning of driven wheels based on vehicle performance parameters measured during a previous vehicle launch. In this way, a vehicle controller may control the tire warming to increase tire traction while reducing tire wear.
TIRE SIDEWALL TEMPERATURE SENSING SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Systems and methods for sensing a tire parameter from a rotating wheel are disclosed. In some embodiments, a system includes: a rotatable component configured to rotate; a piezoelectric transducer disposed along a circumference of the rotatable component, where the piezoelectric transducer is configured to generate an offload voltage based on a mechanical deformation of the piezoelectric transducer; and at least one processor in communication with the piezoelectric transducer, the at least one processor configured to determine a temperature value based on the offload voltage.

Apparatus and Method for Tire Separation Monitoring
A vehicle monitoring system monitors a vehicle characteristic and, from the monitoring, determines the state of a vehicle component. The system may set an alert and may communicate that alert to a user or supervisory authority. The state of the vehicle component may relate to a vehicle tire and to the potential delamination of a tire.

METHOD FOR CORRECTING THE MEASURED PRESSURE IN A TIRE (AS AMENDED)
A method for determining the pressure of a tire of a vehicle being driven at a speed, the tire comprising, arranged in the tire, a pressure sensor and a temperature sensor. The method includes generating a library of ratios between a measurement of the output of the pressure sensor and a measurement of the output of the temperature sensor, the one or more ratios being calculated at different speeds and .one ratio being measured at a speed of zero, defining a variation law representative of the variation in the ratios with respect to the acceleration experienced by the pressure sensor, measuring the output of the pressure sensor and the output of the temperature sensor, and obtaining the value of the acceleration experienced by the pressure sensor, and determining the pressure by correcting this measurement with the variation law.
