Skid aid
Annular tire overlay (11) for drawing onto the rolling surface of tires (40), which has a tread (17) on its outside and a gripping surface (15) on its inside, which tire overlay (11) is so designed that contact between the rolling surface of the tire (40) and the surfacing of the road is prevented by the tire overlay (11) when the tire overlay has been drawn onto a tire. The said tire overlay (11) is provided with a flange (21) which stops the tire overlay (11) from shifting in the axial direction of the wheel. Advantageously, the tire overlay is additionally stiffened by a flange (21) of planar form to keep the contact area on the surface below small.

A Surface Adapting Assembly for a Tire
A surface adapting assembly for a tire comprising an elongate member for fitting over the tire. The elongate member has a contact surface having treads sidewalls extending longitudinally and extending between respective edges of the elongate member and respective sides of the contact surface, and a first and second end extending in a crosswise direction of the member. The surface adapting assembly comprises a first pair of fastening elements attached to the first sidewall adjacent the first edge and adjacent each end of the elongate member. Each fastening element has a height that is smaller than the distance across the sidewall from the first edge to the contact surface. At least one of the first pair of fastening elements comprises an opening for a part of the same locking element. A method for manufacturing a surface adapting assembly for a tire is also disclosed.
Non-slip inflatable device for motor vehicle tyres
Non-slip inflatable device for motor vehicle tyres based on a device which covers the tread of the tyre and which has elements on its outside face making it non-slip, and characterised because the device as such is of a low-rise straight, rectangular, elongated parallelepiped-shaped inflatable resistant element.
Tire Chain and Components Thereof
A link member for a tyre chain, comprising a body including a cavity for receiving a portion of a ring element therein, the body also including an opening for inserting the ring element into the cavity, said body further being adapted to receive a retaining member for closing the opening and retaining the ring element in the cavity.
SNOW TIRE COVER
There is provided a tire cover for snow including a plurality of cover bodies covering the tire elastically, and including a tread cover part covering a tread of the tire, an inner cover part extending from both sides of the tread cover part and covering the inner surface of the tire, and an outer cover part covering the outer surface of the tire; and a braking pin including a head part, a neck part extending from the rear surface of the head part and having the smaller cross-section area than the head part, a supported plate part extending from the rear surface of the neck part and having the larger cross-section area than the neck part, and a pin part protruding from the rear surface of the supported plate part, wherein the braking pin is coupled to the cover body in order that the head part protrudes to the outer area of the tread cover part and the pin part protrudes to the inner area of the tread cover part, and the pin part is inserted to the tire when covering the cover bodies to the tire.

Extended-Life Tire Chain and Method of Extending the Life of a Tire Chain
An extended-life tire chain and method of extending the life of a tire chain. An extended-life tire chain has a plurality of chain links, a plurality of twin clevises each secured to two of the links, and a plurality of clevis pins each having a head on one of its extremities. Each twin clevis has two receptacles. Each clevis pin is removably disposed in a different one of the receptacles. The twin clevises are oriented such that, when the tire chain is installed on a tire, the heads project radially away from a tread surface of the tire.

Bead lock snow chain integration
A tire chain assembly may include a peripheral chain assembly, a chain positioning assembly, and a retention ring. The peripheral chain assembly may extend around tire treads of a tire having an outer sidewall that extends in a radial direction to be operably coupled to a wheel rim. The chain positioning assembly may extend from the peripheral chain assembly over the outer sidewall toward an outer peripheral edge of the wheel rim. The retention ring may attach the chain positioning assembly to the outer peripheral edge of the wheel rim.
