VALVE FOR AIR CHAMBERS
20170043636 · 2017-02-16 · ·

A valve for air chambers includes a fixed body and a mobile selector body, wherein the mobile selector body is disposed coaxially in the fixed body. The mobile selector body is configured to slide with respect to the fixed body. The mobile selector body has a first position of use, associated during use to at least a first outlet, and a second position of use, associated during use to at least a second outlet.

FLUID RESERVOIR WITHIN A TIRE

A wheel assembly has a rim with an outer radial surface. A tire coupled to the rim defines a first interior region between the outer radial surface and the tire. A bladder coupled to the rim defines a second interior region between the outer radial surface and the bladder. A third interior region is defined between the bladder and the tire. The wheel assembly includes a valve fluidly coupled to the second interior region and the third interior region. The valve is movable between a first position and a second position. The second interior region and the third interior region are fluidly isolated from one another when the valve is in the first position. The second interior region and the third interior region may be fluidly coupled to one another when the valve is in the second position.

A valve unit (1) with a single-piece valve body (4) includes a cylindrical collar (5), a valve seat (7), a main duct (9) and an auxiliary duct (10). The cylindrical collar (5) projects from a reference plane (12) obtained in the valve body (4) and is configured so that it can be arranged against a rim (2) when the cylindrical collar (5) is inserted in a hole (6). The cylindrical collar (5) has an end (5a) configured so that it can be deformed and can define a flared portion (13) of the main duct (9) which interferes with the rim (2) at the level of the hole (6) thus providing a mechanism (11) for fixing the valve unit (1) to the rim (2).

HOLLOW TIRE WITH INFLATING VALVE

Disclosed is a hollow tire with an inflating valve, including two parts: a tire body and an inflating valve. The inflating valve is disposed in the tire body, the inflating valve is a rubber gasket inflating valve, and an inflating valve rubber base and the tire body of the hollow tire are bonded by using a rubber vulcanization process to ensure gas tightness. An inflating valve body is hidden in the tire body of the hollow tire and can be located at any position on a cross section of the tire body of the hollow tire. Compared with an ordinary hollow tire, in this disclosure, the inflating valve is disposed on the hollow tire, so that high-pressure gas can be inflated, thereby enhancing a load-bearing capability and buffering performance and improving a service life of the tire.
