Inflation valve with bulb having a bisymmetric cavity for passage of a tubular core
An inflation valve having a tubular core surrounded with an elastically deformable sleeve with a bulb widening toward the internal longitudinal end of the valve and bearing a sealing groove on its outer contour, the groove being adapted for receiving an edge of the orifice of the rim in its interior. There is a cavity between the bulb and the tubular core, having an oval-shaped outer periphery and a first spacing taken in a first direction radial to the tubular core that is greater than a second spacing taken in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction, a cross section of the inflation valve taken at the position of the cavity exhibiting symmetry with respect to the first and second directions.

Tire pressure monitoring module with thru-valve construction
A TPMS module includes a sensor body with two arcuate surfaces adjacent the opening. A tire valve includes two arcuate portions and a distal portion. A plurality of gripping teeth are disposed on the valve arcuate portions. The valve distal portion is provided in the sensor body opening and arranged such that the valve arcuate portions couple to the sensor body arcuate surfaces. The valve is coupled to the sensor body by the interaction of a seat and a grommet such that the gripping teeth interact with the sensor body arcuate surfaces to maintain an orientation of the valve with respect to the sensor body.
Ball and socket articulating TPM sensor
A tire monitoring apparatus comprises a sensor housing having a connection part integrated with the sensor housing, the connection part having an elongated opening and a corresponding mounting feature in a wheel rim, wherein a screw extends through the elongated opening and connects with the corresponding mounting feature in the wheel rim, thereby when the screw is not tightened fully, the sensor housing can be rotated with respect to the corresponding mounting feature in the wheel rim, and when the screw is tightened fully, the sensor housing is secured in place and does not rotate with respect to the corresponding mounting feature in the wheel rim.
