The front tire 2 includes a pair of beads 18, a carcass 10 extending on and between a first bead 18 and a second bead 18, a tread 4 located outward of the carcass 10 in a radial direction, and a band 14 located between the tread 4 and the carcass 10 in the radial direction. The carcass 10 includes a large number of carcass cords 30 aligned with each other and each tilted relative to an equator plane. The band 14 includes a band cord 34 extending substantially in a circumferential direction. A ratio (Jf/Jr) of a bending stiffness Jf of the band cord 34 of the front tire 2 to a bending stiffness Jr of a band cord 84 of the rear tire 52 is not less than 0.0 and less than 0.7.
Pneumatic tire
A pneumatic tire comprises a belt layer disposed in the tread portion. The average cord angle θn and average cord count Nn of the belt layer are constant or gradually increases or decreases from a center position to shoulder positions. The ratio θns/θnc of the average cord angle θns at the shoulder positions to the average cord angle θnc at the center position is 1.30 or less. The ratio Nns/Nnc of the average cord count Nns at the shoulder positions to the average cord count Nnc in the center position is 0.77 or more.
TIRE
A tire comprises a tread portion provided with a band composed of at least one band cord wound spirally and circumferentially of the tire and embedded in the tread portion. When a band cord piece is taken out from the above-said at least one band cord embedded in the tread portion and measured for the length, a length Lb is equal to or smaller than a length La at least in a part of the tread portion, where the length Lb is measured at a first point of time after the band cord piece has been taken out, and the length La is measured at a second point of time after the first point of time.
MOTORCYCLE TIRE
A tread of a tire includes a plurality of blocks including a center block located on an equator plane and a side block located outward of the center block in an axial direction. Each of the plurality of blocks includes a land surface that forms a part of a tread surface. In the tread surface, a total area of the land surfaces is smaller than a total area of a portion other than the land surfaces. A complex elastic modulus at a maximum strain amplitude of 1% and a temperature of 70° C. of each block is not less than 10.0 MPa. A 300% modulus at a temperature of 75° C. of each block is not greater than 6.0 MPa.
Pneumatic radial tyre
A pneumatic radial tyre includes a plurality of shoulder lateral grooves crossing shoulder lard regions. In a cross-sectional view of at least one of the shoulder lateral grooves taken along a groove width center line thereof, a groove bottom of the shoulder lateral groove includes a first bottom surface portion arranged on an inner side in a tyre axial direction and a second bottom surface portion extending between the first bottom surface portion and the tread surface outer end in a concave arc shape having a radius of curvature.
Drag-reducing shaft tailfin for vehicles
A streamlined tailfin pivotably attached to a shaft-shaped member disposed on a vehicle provides for reduced drag in winds varying in direction impinging thereon.
MOTORCYCLES TYRE
A motorcycle tyre (1) has a tread band (1) comprising a plurality of grooves that form at least part of a tread pattern including a module (T) replicated along a circumferential direction and having a predetermined circumferential length (Cl). The module (T) comprises a pair of circumferential grooves (20) arranged on opposite sides with respect to the equatorial plane (X-X) of the tyre (1). Such circumferential grooves (20) extend along the circumferential direction for at least part of said predetermined circumferential length (Cl) and define between them a central annular portion (A) of tread band (8) having a void to solid ratio substantially equal to zero and a predetermined axial width (Al). The module (T) further comprises a pair of first lateral annular portions (B) arranged on opposite sides with respect to the equatorial plane (X-X) in an axially outer position with respect to said pair of circumferential grooves (20) and each having a void to solid ratio substantially equal to zero, and a plurality of transversal grooves (30, 31, 32, 33) arranged on opposite sides with respect to the equatorial plane (X-X), in an axially outer position with respect to said pair of first lateral annular portions (B). The tyre (1) has a curvature ratio lower than about 0.4.
MOTORCYCLE TIRE FOR RUNNING ON ROUGH TERRAIN
A tire has a block pattern. The block pattern includes a plurality of linked block pairs. Each linked block pair includes two blocks 28 and a tie bar 30 interposed between the two blocks 28 and linking the two blocks 28 together. The tie bar 30 has a toe end 40 having a height equal to or smaller than a height of the blocks 28 and a heel end 38 having a height smaller than the height of the toe end 40.
MOTORCYCLE TIRE FOR RUNNING ON ROUGH TERRAIN
A tire includes a block 30. The block 30 includes a land 36b, a transverse groove 48b, a longitudinal groove 50b, and a side surface 38b. The land 36b is flat. The transverse groove 48b is recessed from the land 36b. The transverse groove 48b has inner and outer ends 52 and 54 in an axial direction of the tire.
