Coupling unit
Provided is a coupling unit for coupling a tire to a rim, the coupling unit including an upper surface, a lower surface, and side surfaces, in which a maximum length of the coupling unit is larger than a distance between both hooks of the rim, the side surfaces include sliding areas that are slidable with respect to the hooks of the rim such that the coupling unit is easily inserted into the rim while the coupling unit is being inserted into the rim, and in a state in which the coupling unit is completely inserted into the rim, at least a part of the upper surface is in surface contact with lower surfaces of the hooks to prevent the coupling unit from being separated from the rim.
WHEEL STRUCTURE
A wheel structure includes a rim and a tire. The rim includes a body, hub and spokes. The body has two edges which first and second flanges are annularly disposed at, respectively, to form a tire holder. First and second walls are annularly disposed at the edges of the body in such a manner to face the first and second flanges, respectively, allowing a first engaging slot to be formed between the first flange and the first wall and a second engaging slot to be formed between the second flange and the second wall. The tire is coupled to the tire holder. First and second coupling portions are disposed at two inner edges of the tire and coupled to the first and second engaging slots, respectively. A hollow core portion is formed between the first and second coupling portions.
Polyurethane filled tires
Polyurethane elastomeric compositions for making tires, methods for making said tires and tires made of said polyurethane elastomers. Said tires are in particular suitable for use as tires for low speed vehicles such as bicycle tires.
BICYCLE TRACTION LOOPS
Illustrative embodiments of systems and methods for improving traction of a bicycle are disclosed. The invention described are traction loops comprised of a strap having projections extending therefrom. The loops are fastened around the width of the tire using a fastening device. The loops may be easily applied and removed to provide the rider with flexibility to use the loops on slicker surfaces and remove them when riding on drier surfaces. The loops may further be easily stored on the bike when not in use.
Pressure measuring device with alignment feature
A pressure measuring device for a bicycle has a housing that includes a pressure chamber. The pressure chamber has a valve disposed in a first opening and a second opening into or out of a tire assembly volume of a tire assembly. A sense element is in pressure communication with the pressure chamber along a flow path between the first and second openings.
BICYCLE TYRE
A bicycle tyre (100), comprising a carcass structure (2) and a tread band (7) applied in a radially outer position with respect to the carcass structure (2). The tread band (7) comprises a crown portion (7a) extending astride of an equatorial plane (X) of the tyre (100) and having a predetermined radius of curvature (R1) and a pair of lateral portions (7b) arranged on axially opposite sides with respect to the crown portion (7a) and each having a second radius of curvature (R2) greater than said first radius of curvature (R1).
WHEEL APPARATUS FOR CLIMBING STAIRS
A puncture resistant wheel apparatus, and method of use, for safely climbing obstacles are disclosed herein. A plurality of wheel apparatuses is mounted on a vehicle (e.g. a wheelchair, cart, mountain bicycle, etc.) to enable it to safely traverse obstacles, such as a flight of stairs, road curbs, etc. without slipping, and while creating a smoother ride. Each wheel apparatus comprises: a tire comprising a plurality of teeth sections separated via a thin space to grip an obstacle edge between the teeth; a circular rim attachable to the tire inner surface via T-joints, and a plurality of evenly spaced spokes extending to a central hub; and two hoop rings, mounted on opposing tire sidewalls. The center of each tire tooth section further comprises an elastic unit, comprising a vertical spring and two horizontal springs that further act to dampen the vibrational and jarring forces exerted on the wheel apparatus.
TYRE FOR BICYCLE WHEELS
The present invention refers to a tyre for bicycle wheels comprising a tread band containing an anti-puncture system capable of having high resistance to the penetration of foreign bodies, simultaneously ensuring optimal handling performances. In particular the present invention regards a tyre for bicycle wheels comprising: a carcass structure; and a tread band arranged in radially outer position with respect to the carcass structure; wherein said tread band is made by means of vulcanisation of a cross-linkable elastomeric composition comprising a reinforcement system constituted by modified silicate fibres of nanometric size and fibrillated polymer fibres of micrometric size.
Apparatus for measuring the pressure of a two-wheeler tire, in particular, a bicycle tire
An apparatus for measuring the pressure of a two-wheeler tire comprises: an adapter component which comprises a joining mechanism to connect the apparatus to a valve of the two-wheeler tire; a valve opener to open the valve so that in a state connected to the valve pressurized air flows from the two-wheeler tire through the valve into the until the which can be connected to the adapter component; and a sensor component which can be connected to the adapter component. The sensor component comprises a pressure measurement device to measure the pressure in the apparatus and a transmitter to wirelessly transmit information corresponding to the measured pressure.
RUBBER COMPOSITE, PROCESSING METHOD, RUBBER PRODUCTS APPLYING COMPOSITE, AND MANUFACTURING METHOD
The present invention discloses a rubber composition, production method thereof and a rubber product using the same. The rubber composition includes a rubber matrix and essential components. Based on 100 parts by weight of the rubber matrix, the rubber matrix includes a branched polyethylene with a content represented as A, in which 0<A100, and an EPM and an EPDM with a total content represented as B, in which 0B<100; and the essential components include 1.5 to 10 parts of a crosslinking agent and 40 to 200 parts of a reinforcing filler.
