CONVEYOR DISHWASHER
A conveyor dishwasher includes at least one wash zone and at least one final rinse zone, wherein the at least one wash zone is designed to spray wash liquid, wherein the wash liquid is, at least proportionally, liquid which has already been used for final rinsing in the at least one final rinse zone and to which a wash chemical is added in a metered manner or is fresh water to which a wash chemical is added in a metered manner, wherein the conveyor dishwasher has a metering pump for adding the wash chemical in a metered manner to the liquid to be sprayed in the at least one wash zone, and wherein a controller is associated with the conveyor dishwasher in order to actuate the metering pump and a wash pump or final rinse pump of the dishwasher.
DISHWASHER SPRAY FILL
Provided are systems, methods, and apparatus for spraying water in a dishwasher. A dishwasher may include a wash chamber and at least one dish rack. The dishwasher may include a water inlet selectively connected to a dish spray device, which may connect a dish spray conduit with the wash chamber. The dish spray device may be oriented towards the at least one dish rack, such that the spray device may be configured to direct water onto the dishes for washing. The water inlet may be selectively connected to a fill device, which may connect the fill conduit with the wash chamber. The fill device may be configured to provide water to the circulation assembly without impinging the at least one dish rack. The one or more valves may selectively direct water from the water inlet to one or both of the dish spray device and the fill device.
STRUCTURAL UNIT, IN PARTICULAR HEATING PUMP, COMPRISING A HEATABLE TUBE SECTION FOR A WATER-CONDUCTING DOMESTIC APPLIANCE, AND WATER-CONDUCTING DOMESTIC APPLIANCE COMPRISING SUCH A STRUCTURAL UNIT
A structural unit, in particular a heating pump for a water-conducting domestic appliance, in particular a domestic dishwasher, includes a heatable tube section through which a liquid can flow during operation and in which one or more mechanical structures are arranged that produce locally different flow speeds of the liquid. A first temperature measuring device is arranged on an outer side of the tube section radially outside a region of lower flow rate or less incident flow, and a second temperature measuring device is arranged on the outer side of the tube section radially outside a region of higher flow rate or more incident flow.
METHOD AND CLEANING DEVICE FOR CLEANING ITEMS TO BE CLEANED
A method for cleaning items to be cleaned is disclosed. A cleaning device is used that has at least one cleaning chamber and at least one applicator for applying at least one cleaning fluid to the items to be cleaned in the cleaning chamber. A desired hygiene value is prespecified. The method further includes time-resolved recording of at least two influencing variables which influence hygienization of the items to be cleaned. Hygiene share values are determined from the influencing variables using a prespecified relationship between each influencing variable and the respective hygiene value share of said influencing variable. An expected actual hygiene value at the end of the cleaning from the hygiene value shares is ascertained and compared with the desired hygiene value. At least one of the influencing variables is changed based on the comparison. An inventive cleaning device is also disclosed.
Warewash machine cleaning notification and in-situ dilution process
A warewash machine includes in-situ tank soil load reduction that involves at least one of: (i) prior to addition of fresh water, draining the collection tank via a path that exits the collection tank at a location lower than a primary overflow path until wash liquid level in the collection tank drops below a standard operating level, and thereafter adding fresh water; or (ii) draining the collection tank via a path that exits the collection tank at a location lower than a primary overflow path while simultaneously adding fresh water; or (iii) adding fresh water such that wash liquid level in the collection tank rises above a standard operating level, and thereafter carrying out draining of the collection tank.
Low cost sensor system
The invention relates to a low cost sensor array suitable for use in a ware washing machine, preferably a dish washing machine. The invention also relates to a standalone detergent dispensing device comprising the low cost sensor array. The sensor systems are intended to allow monitoring of wash cycles such that controlled sequential dosing of reagents in wash cycles can be optimized. A device comprising such a sensor system may then be able to sense the conditions of the wash and dose reagents in their optimal sequence in the wash.
WATER BEARING APPLIANCE, CONTROL METHOD, AND SYSTEM
A water bearing appliance, control method, and system are provided. Operating data from appliances are transmitted to a receiver over a network such as the Internet. Maintenance, cleaning, and repairs are initiated based on the operating data, and can be triggered remotely and automatically. A machine learning model(s) is trained according to operating conditions of various appliances and respective outcomes, such as maintenance, repairs, damages, life expectancy, and/or the like, to learn correlations therebetween. A digital twin appliance data object is generated for an appliance and applied to the machine learning model(s) to provide a predictive maintenance data object. Cleaning regimens, maintenance, repairs, and/or the like are configured to particular operating circumstances of an appliance.
Method for calibrating a cleaning device
A method for calibrating a cleaning device that has at least one sensor for detecting at least one state variable, including carrying out a calibration measurement, establishing an electronic connection between the calibration sensor and a controller of the cleaning device, and electronically transmitting the reference value to the controller; and comparing the reference value with at least one measurement value of the sensor of the cleaning device and adjusting at least one correction function in accordance with the comparison. At least one state variable is detected and at least one reference value is determined by means of at least one calibration sensor independently of the sensor of the cleaning device. Future measurement values of the sensor of the cleaning device are automatically corrected using the correction function.
Warewasher idling system and method
A warewash machine for washing wares includes a chamber for receiving wares, the chamber having at least one spray zone. A spray system is provided in the spray zone for spraying liquid onto wares for cleaning. A tank captures sprayed liquid that falls within the spray zone. The tank includes a primary recirculation path for delivering liquid from the tank to the spray system, and a secondary recirculation path for delivering water out of the tank and back into the tank, without spraying within the spray zone, in order promote mixing within the tank.
