DISHWASHER WITH HEAT PUMP
The present disclosure relates to a dishwasher having a heat pump, including a dishwasher body provided with a tub configured with a washing space therein and a sump provided at a bottom of the tub to temporarily accommodate washing water; a spray arm provided inside the washing space to spray washing water; a circulation pump that pumps the washing water of the sump; a washing water guide that guides the washing water pumped by the circulation pump to the spray arm; a heat pump provided with a compressor, an evaporator, an expansion apparatus, and a condenser provided to exchange heat in contact with the washing water of the washing water guide; and a controller that controls the heat pump to increase the temperature of the washing water of the washing water guide. As a result, it may be possible to suppress heat loss from being generated while heating washing water.
DISH WASHER
The present disclosure relates to a dish washer having a heat pump, and the dish washer may include a washing tank provided with a sump at a bottom surface thereof and provided with an accommodation space for storing dishes therein; a heat pump system provided with an evaporator, a compressor that compresses and circulates refrigerant, a condenser that heats washing water for washing the dishes, and an expansion apparatus; and a heat exchange system that exchanges heat between water for heat transfer to the refrigerant and the evaporator, thereby enhancing the heat exchange performance and efficiency of the evaporator.
Dishwasher thermometer with wireless temperature logger and associated methods
A dishwasher thermometer captures temperature data of temperature sensed within a dishwasher during a wash cycle. The dishwasher thermometer includes a wireless communication interface that transmits the captured temperature data to one or more of a server and a monitor device. When the captured temperature data indicates that the wash cycle did not achieve defined temperature threshold(s), an alert is generated at the server and/or the monitor device indicating that the wash cycle did not meet appropriate washing conditions. In embodiments, the temperature data may be accessible to a third party for certification of the dishwasher wash cycle.
Method of variable filtration in a dishwasher
A dishwasher with a tub at least partially defining a treating chamber, a spraying system for spraying liquid into the treating chamber, and a recirculation system for recirculating liquid sprayed in the treating chamber to the spraying system with a variable filtration system. Method of operating includes recirculating a liquid, supplying a first portion of the liquid through the spraying system, supplying a second portion of the liquid through the filter, and varying the amount of the second portion.
HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCE INCLUDING A MOUNTABLE WIRELESS COMMUNICATION MODULE
A household appliance includes a selectively mountable wireless communication module. The selectively mountable wireless communication module can be selectively mounted in a toe kick area of the household appliance. The household appliance can be, but is not limited to, a dishwasher, an oven, a refrigerator, a freezer, a microwave, a washing machine, a dryer, or a combo washer-dryer.
Warewash machine or other food equipment machine with contactor monitoring system
A food equipment device, such as a warewasher, includes a powered component, the powered component being one of a heating element or a pump or a fan, and a power line path for delivering power to the powered component. A contactor is provided for controlling power delivery to the powered component, the contactor including main power contacts connected in the power line path and auxiliary contacts that operate the same as, or opposite to, the main power contacts. A monitoring system is operatively connected to the auxiliary contacts to monitor an open or closed state of the auxiliary contacts and includes a voltage source operatively connected to one of the auxiliary contacts and an electrical sensor for detecting one of (i) a voltage condition of the other auxiliary contact or (ii) a current flow condition between the auxiliary contacts.
DOSING DEVICE FOR A CLEANING MACHINE
A system for dosing substances such as cleaning and/or care agents is disclosed. The system includes a dosing device, at least one energy source, a control unit, a sensor unit, and at least two cartridges for respectively accommodating at least one of the cleaning and/or care agents. The at least two cartridges are capable of being coupled to the dosing device.
Cleaning appliance and method for cleaning articles to be cleaned
What is proposed is a cleaning appliance (110) for cleaning articles to be cleaned (116). The cleaning appliance (110) comprises at least one cleaning chamber (114) and at least one nozzle (123) for applying at least one cleaning fluid (118) to the articles to be cleaned (116) within the cleaning chamber (114). The cleaning appliance (110) also comprises at least one temperature sensor (168), which is arranged in at least one desired jet region (166) of the nozzle (123). The cleaning appliance (110) also comprises a control unit (157), which is designed to analyze at least one sensor signal of the temperature sensor (168) and to evaluate a jet behavior of the nozzle (123) on the basis of the sensor signal.
METHOD FOR CONTROLLING OPERATION OF A HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCE AND A HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCE
A method for controlling operation of a household appliance may include supplying a liquid to a first space, determining a first behavior(TB1) of temperature measured by a first temperature sensor during supplying of the liquid to the first space, supplying the liquid to a second space by activating a pump in order to transport the liquid from the first space to the second space, determining a second behavior (TB2) of temperature measured by a second temperature sensor during supplying of the liquid to the second space, and determining if a sufficient amount of the liquid has been supplied to the second space or not based on the second behavior (TB2) evaluated with respect to the first behavior (TB1). A household appliance may also be provided.
CLEAN STATUS INDICATOR
A device having a clean status indicator system having a frame with a base, a plurality of feet, a washing compartment, a door, and at least one rack. The system includes a weight sensor secured to one of the feet; a tilt switch for indicating if the dishwasher is tilted; a temperature sensor; a housing, and a visual display. A controller having a control logic communicates with a power supply, the weight sensor, the tilt switch, the temperature sensor, and the visual display. The controller is configured to receive data from the weight sensor, the tilt switch, and the temperature sensor and analyze the data from the weight sensor, the tilt switch, and the temperature sensor. The tilt switch is mounted exterior to the dishwasher and configured to be activated or deactivated when the dishwasher is a tilted forward.
