All-terrain vehicle

An all-terrain rover has a ladder frame having one or more crosspieces, two drive units connected on opposite sides of the frame, first and second auger cylinders engaged with the drive. The drive units are in contact with the axes of the auger cylinders and the flange of the first cylinder is wound in an opposite direction to the flange of the second cylinder. The cylinders are counter-rotated to urge the rover forward. Sampling equipment is mounted on the frame. In an embodiment, each cylinder further comprises a conical end cap at each end. Each cylinder may have a frustaconical end cap at each end, and each cylinder may be buoyant.

MOBILE PONTOON AND FERRY CROSSING EQUIPMENT, A PONTOON AND A FERRY ACCOMPANYING THIS EQUIPMENT

Mobile pontoon and ferry crossing equipment as well as a pontoon and a ferry accompanying this equipment, whereas crossing equipment comprises at least one foldable ferry or one foldable pontoon, each of which has a compact modular design composed of float modules and equipped with self-aligned joining elements that stabilized these modules, according to the invention is characterized by the fact that the foldable ferry (1) or foldable pontoon (2) in its closed condition for transportation forms a semi-trailer or a trailer, whose self-supporting chassis (3) is at the same time a basic float module of the foldable ferry (1) or foldable pontoon (2) respectively.

AMPHIBIOUS TRANSPORT SYSTEM

An amphibious transport apparatus includes forward and aft ends, a pair of spaced apart pontoons including tracks, and a transversely extending structure, which can include a platform, that spans between the pontoons and connects the pontoons together. The amphibious transport apparatus further includes a sled vessel that can be used to transport materials or personnel. The sled can be releasably attached to the amphibious transport apparatus with tow bar and a pivotal connection. Said tow bar can be rotatable between an upper storage position wherein the tow bar engages the vessel away from said pivotal connection and above a terrain surface, and a lower towing position. A towing position of said amphibious craft and sled can be defined by the sled connected to the amphibious craft at the releasable pivotal connection, with the amphibious craft being self propelled with said tracks for engaging the underlying terrain and with the sled in the lower towing position so that the sled bottom drags along on the underlying terrain during movement of the amphibious transport apparatus and sled. A trailer for loading and unloading the sled can also be provided. The amphibious craft can push the sled onto the trailer during loading.

Modular submersible survey vehicle

A modular submersible survey vehicle (MSSV) that includes a pair of continuous tracks, a chassis, a shell and a plurality of watertight modules. The MSSV can also include a mast with a mast topper, and a remote control device. A chassis is mounted on the pair of continuous tracks and covered by the shell on the sides and top but open on the bottom. The watertight modules are mounted on the chassis and contain mechanical devices and electronic components for locomotion, controlling movement of the MSSV, surveying and wireless communication. The mast topper can support a radio antenna, a global positioning antenna, a WiFi an antenna, a light and/or a camera. The remote control device is used to control the MSSV from a remote location. The shell is vented so that water freely passes into and out of the shell through the open bottom of the chassis.

A vehicle capable of multiple varieties of locomotion having a main body; a plurality of motors and blades providing flying capability; each motor being associated with and powering a blade assembly; two legs extending from opposing sides of the main body creating a ground propulsion system. The ground propulsion system having two legs; each leg connected to a track body at the opposing leg end; each track body comprised of a plurality of drive gears; each track body connected to and retaining a track providing ground propulsion. The vehicle can either drive or fly based on its base structure, in additional to carrying a payload. The payload is carried below the main body of the vehicle and between the tracks or running gear. When the vehicle is in flight, the tracks are able to rotate up into a fly/flight mode to protect the blades during flight.

An amphibian (1) for use on land and water, comprising: a hull having a planing surface (2), and at least one retractable suspension apparatus (4) movable from a vehicle supporting position to a retracted position, comprising for each wheel (5), upper and lower suspension arms (8, 9) that are pivotably connected at inboard ends to a support structure within the hull; and are pivotably connected at outboard ends to a suspension upright (7). Upright (7) extends from a first, upper connection past a second, lower connection to a location (10) for a wheel hub mounting. The suspension upright when deployed in land use extends externally of the hull across a side face (2A) of the planing surface; while lower suspension arm (9) remains above the top of planing surface (2) throughout use of the amphibian on land. This suspension arrangement allows the hull to have no cutouts in its planing surface.

The basic of my invention is to use a more powerful engine then that in current car and to modify its structure and handling. This saucer car can drive in current narrow roadway with the retractable propeller. When obstacle in front, with the new differential, it can diverse power vertically, in that way to convert it into a helicopter. In Case the obstacle is a lake or river, the umbrella bottom, acting as propeller too, makes the car floating and sails on water. The propellers are rotated in opposite direction in order to keep car in neutral direction.
