Multi-Bar Linkage Electric Drive System
An electric drive system including: a rotary motor system including a hub assembly, a first rotating assembly, a second rotating assembly, and a third rotating assembly, wherein the hub assembly defines a rotational axis about which the first rotating assembly, the second rotating assembly, and the third rotating assembly are coaxially aligned and are capable of independent rotational movement independent of each other; a multi-bar linkage mechanism connected to each of the first and third rotating assemblies and connected to the hub assembly and constraining movement of the hub assembly so that the rotational axis of the hub assembly moves along a defined path that is in a transverse direction relative to the rotational axis and wherein the multi-bar linkage mechanism causes the rotational axis of the hub assembly to translate along the defined path in response to relative rotation of the first rotating assembly and the third rotating assembly with respect to each other.
Riding Work Vehicle
In a riding work vehicle, power of an engine is transmitted to a traveling wheel via a horizontally oriented transmission shaft and a vertically oriented transmission shaft. The traveling wheel is supported to be changeable in direction about a rotational axis of the vertically oriented transmission shaft. Each of the vertically oriented transmission shaft and a vertically oriented transmission case is provided as an inner/outer double structure expandable/contractible in association with sliding movement thereof. The vertically oriented transmission case is supported to be pivotable together with the traveling wheel. There is provided a vehicle height adjustment mechanism capable of switching, in a plurality of steps, a relative height of the traveling wheel relative to a vehicle body frame.
SUSPENSION ELEMENT SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A vehicle includes a support arm and a suspension element. The suspension element is rotatably connected to a support arm of a vehicle via a mounting pin that extends through an opening on the suspension element, a thrust washer, and a seal. The combination of elements prevent debris from migrating into the connection. The suspension element is configured to connect to a structural element of the vehicle via an upper mount. The suspension element may include a recoil damper having a piston with a plurality of grooves arranged to balance the forces on the piston during and after a recoil event or jounce.

Steering head bearing arrangement
A steering head bearing arrangement for mounting a wheel module for a motor vehicle is provided with a steering rod connectable to a steering actuator and a wishbone, and a bearing flange connectable with a support frame of the motor vehicle, first and second roller bearings arranged in the bearing flange for mounting the steering rod, and a retaining ring screwed onto the steering rod for biasing the second roller bearing against the first roller bearing. By biasing the substantially spaced apart roller bearings against each other by means of the screwed-on retaining ring, radial and axial play of the steering rod in the bearing flange can be largely eliminated, thereby allowing to avoid wear-intensive peak stresses and allowing robust mounting of a steering rod of a motor vehicle.

RETROFIT FOR FARM EQUIPMENT
Systems and methods relating to the replacement of specific parts in farm equipment to thereby adjust the farm equipment's capabilities. To modify the ground clearance of farm equipment, especially sprayers with a strut type suspension, the spindles of the suspension system along with the air spring absorber are replaced. The original spindles are replaced with longer spindles while the air spring absorber is replaced with one that allows for an increased range of travel. As well, the fixed length linkage arms that connect the air height control valves to the suspension system may be replaced with longer arms. These longer linkage arms may be of a fixed length or they may be of an adjustable length. Alternatively, a replacement bracket may be used to allow for the reuse of the original linkage arm.
