FEEDER HOUSING FOR AGRICULTURAL MACHINE

A reinforced feeder housing for an agricultural machine includes a housing body having a top surface, a bottom surface, and two opposing side surfaces each extending between the top and bottom surfaces. The housing body includes a front opening through which crop material is directed into the feeder housing from a header of the agricultural machine, and a rear opening that is substantially opposite the front opening through which crop is expelled from the feeder housing and is delivered to a threshing mechanism of the agricultural machine. Various panels of the housing body are reinforced to improve the structural integrity of the feeder housing and prevent damage to the welds in the housing body.

Threshing Cylinder

Provided is a threshing cylinder with threshing processing section provided on the rear side of a raking section. In the threshing processing section, a front support member, an intermediate support member, and a rear support member are supported by a threshing cylinder support shaft. A plurality of front-side divided threshing teeth support members are supported by the front support member and the intermediate support member in a state in which the front-side divided threshing teeth support members are arranged at the same arrangement pitch in the circumferential direction of the threshing processing section. A plurality of rear-side divided threshing teeth support members are supported by the intermediate support member and the rear support member in a state in which the rear-side divided threshing teeth support members are arranged at the same arrangement pitch in the circumferential direction of the threshing processing section.

The aim of the invention is to remove the husks of a corncob while preventing the corncob from being crushed. This is achieved in that the device is equipped with a working region (A) for arranging a corncob (2) along a longitudinal axis (X), said working region being divided into a first sub-region (A1) and a second sub-region (A1) along the longitudinal axis (X). Furthermore, a gripping unit (B1) is provided which is designed to carry out a gripping process in a first base position (G1), which is located in the first sub-region (A1), in order to grip a first part of the husks (20) of the corncob (2). Additionally, a first guide unit (FE1), preferably a driven first guide unit (FE1), is provided for the first gripping unit (B1), wherein the first guide unit (FE1) is designed to move the first gripping unit (B1) from the first base position (G1) along a first movement path (P1) in order to exert a lateral force (Fly), which runs outwards laterally relative to the longitudinal axis (X), onto the first part of the husks (20) and remove the first part of the husks (20) from the corncob (2) in a radial direction.

A separator is disposed adjacently to the thresher and is configured to separate debris from the threshed grain. A feed accelerator is disposed between the conveyor and the thresher, wherein the feed accelerator is configured to advance the cut crop along the path from the conveyor to the thresher. A pre-threshing device is disposed adjacently to the feed accelerator, wherein the feed accelerator interacts with the pre-threshing device to provide threshed grain, and the pre-threshing device is configured to collect the threshed grain before the remaining cut crop is threshed at the thresher.

A combine harvester includes a rotor cage surrounding a rotor, a threshing space defined between the rotor cage and the rotor, and a transition section defining an infeed to the rotor cage. The transition section is mounted to the rotor cage at a location upstream of the rotor cage. The transition section has an inlet for receiving the crop material. The harvester also includes a crop conveying drum for conveying crop material to the inlet of the transition section and beneath the rotor. The crop conveying drum is at least partially encased by a shroud. The transition section includes a bottom wall, two side walls each having lower portions extending substantially vertical with respect to the bottom wall, and curved side walls each extending between the bottom wall and one of the side walls. The bottom wall is substantially tangential to a Sower portion of the shroud.
