Suspension system
A suspension system configured to sit substantially within the profile of a vehicle platform such that none of the elements extend substantially above the plane of the vehicle platform. The suspension system may utilize an adaptable transverse leaf spring in combination with other suspension elements, to allow the vehicle platform to maintain a generally flat profile and accommodate a variety of different body like structures while maintaining the desired roll and ride stability stiffness.
FRAME FOR A SNOWMOBILE
A snowmobile has a frame having a motor module. The motor module has a front portion defining a cross member and further defining an aperture below the cross member. The frame further has a tunnel, a suspension module, a motor, a handlebar, front left and right skis both operatively connected to the handlebar and front left and right suspension assemblies operatively connecting the front left and right skis respectively to the suspension module and to the motor module. Each one of the front left and right suspension assemblies have a respective support arm having a proximal end positioned longitudinally forward of the motor module and a proximal fastener pivotally connecting the proximal end to the front portion of the motor module about a pivot axis. A line extending from a left pivot axis to a right pivot axis is contained in the cross member.
SUSPENSION SYSTEM
A vehicle suspension system includes left and right control arm assemblies each having a wheel mount structure, an upper control arm, and a lower control arm. Each control arm includes a first end configured to be pivotably connected to a frame structure of a vehicle and a second end rotatably connected to the wheel mount structure. The vehicle suspension system also includes a transverse leaf spring having an elongated body extending between the control arm assemblies, outer mounting brackets respectively connecting left and right ends of the elongated body to the left and right control arm assemblies, and one or more inner mounting brackets located between the outer mounting brackets. The transverse leaf spring is contoured such that a contoured portion of the elongated body deviates in a downward direction in order to extend below an electric drive system disposed within an internal space between rails of the frame structure.
SUSPENSION SYSTEM FOR A UTILITY VEHICLE
A utility vehicle includes a frame, a first ground-engaging element coupled to a first portion of the frame, a second ground-engaging element coupled to a second portion of the frame, an operator platform supported by the frame, and a suspension system coupled between the operator platform and the frame to accommodate motion of the frame relative to the operator platform. The suspension system includes a first linkage assembly coupled to the operator platform and operable to accommodate motion of the second portion of the frame relative to the operator platform and a second linkage assembly having a first end coupled to the frame to secure the suspension system to the frame and a second end coupled to the first linkage assembly. The second linkage assembly being operable independent of the first linkage assembly to accommodate motion of the first portion of the frame relative to the operator platform.

Compact control arm and suspension cylinder pivot
A work vehicle includes a chassis, a prime mover configured to move the chassis along a ground surface, and a suspension assembly that couples a wheel to the chassis. The suspension assembly includes a knuckle coupled to the wheel, a first suspension arm, and a suspension cylinder. The first suspension arm includes a first portion rotatably coupled to the chassis and a second portion extending away from the first portion and coupled to the knuckle. The suspension cylinder is rotatably coupled to the chassis and to a second suspension arm. The first suspension arm and the suspension cylinder are each configured to pivot relative to the chassis about a common pivot axis.
Vehicle steering system
A vehicle including a body, a first and second swing arm assembly each pivotally mounted to the body, at least one wheel support arm pivotally mounted to the first swing arm assembly, an axle coupled to the wheel support arm, a wheel hub pivotally mounted to the axle, the wheel hub rotatably supporting at least one wheel in use, a support member pivotally mounted to the second swing arm assembly and either the wheel support arm or the first swing arm assembly. At least one steering arm pivotally connected to the support member and coupled to the wheel hub, wherein the steering arm, wheel support arm, and the support member are provided in a substantially triangular arrangement, a steering input pivotally mounted to the body and a steering coupling for connecting the steering arm to the steering input.
Suspension Module Having a Subframe Assembly
A suspension module having a subframe assembly. The subframe assembly may include a lower subframe that may pivotally support at least one lower control arm. An upper control arm mounting plate may be mounted to the lower subframe. The upper control arm mounting plate may pivotally support an upper control arm.
KNUCKLE STRUCTURE
A knuckle structure is provided with: a knuckle for rotatably supporting a drive shaft connected to the output shaft of a motor; and a grounding member having a grounding harness, the grounding member electrically connecting the knuckle and a vehicle body. The grounding member is connected to a grounding connection section provided on the protrusion of the knuckle and facing rearward of the vehicle. The grounding connection section is provided between a brake caliper extending in the front-rear direction of the vehicle and the knuckle.
