A stabilizer for a chassis of a vehicle, having a curved stabilizer body (2) that forms a torsion spring, with a pendulum support (5, 6) and with a connecting section (7, 8, 46, 48), the connecting section (7, 8, 46, 48) is made of a metal and connects the stabilizer body (2) to the pendulum support (5, 6). The connecting section (7, 8, 46, 48) and the stabilizer body (2) are connected to one another by a snap-in and/or latch joint. To reduce assembly effort and expense and, at the same time, to join the stabilizer body (2) to the pendulum support (5, 6) in a secure manner, the stabilizer (1) and the pendulum support (5, 6) are characterized in that the connecting section has an opening (22) in which a plastic bearing shell (11) is arranged for fitting of a joint ball (23) of the pendulum support (5, 6).

Vehicle suspension system and vehicle

A vehicle suspension system includes a frame, a damper and a rocker arm. The frame is connected with the rocker arm through the damper, the swing part of swing arm limits the swing arm's rotation angle by matching the limit structure on the frame; the bottom of damper is provided with the universal structure, the damper is connected with the rocker arm through the universal structure, and the universal structure controls the damper in free deflection. A deviation motion of vehicle wheels on both ends by coordinating the swing arm, vibration damper, etc. to avoid the slipping and rollover due to great sides way upon vehicle steering and the lateral wheels disengagement from ground and to enhance the safety of cornering driving of vehicles.

SUSPENSION JOINING STRUCTURE

A suspension joining structure may include a lower arm which has one end portion fastened to a vehicle body, an assist knuckle on which a strut portion is located, a fastening unit which is configured so that a second end portion of the lower arm and a lower end portion of the assist knuckle are fastened, a revoknuckle which is pivotally fastened to the assist knuckle to be rotated independently of the assist knuckle to perform the steering of a wheel, and a steering input portion fastened to the revoknuckle and configured to apply a steering force to the revoknuckle upon the steering of the wheel.

SUSPENSION JOINING STRUCTURE

A suspension joining structure includes: a lower arm having one end fastened to a vehicle body; an assist knuckle having a strut thereon; a fastening unit configured to connect one end of the lower arm and a lower end of the assist knuckle to each other; a suspension fastened to the assist knuckle and rotating independently of the assist knuckle for steering of a wheel; a steering input part connected to the assiste knuckle, and configured such that a steering force is applied to the suspension upon steering; and a rotation transfer unit arranged between the suspension and the steering input part.

A suspension device according to one embodiment of the present disclosure which is equipped with an upper arm which is supported by a knuckle of the vehicle wheel so as to be capable of oscillation, and also supported by a side member which extends in the vehicle front-rear direction so as to be capable of oscillation, wherein: the upper arm has a tip end section positioned at the outside end in the vehicle widthwise direction, and also has arm sections which fork from the tip end section toward the inside in the vehicle widthwise direction; and the upper arm is formed in a manner such that the cross-sectional area of one arm section is greater than the cross-sectional area of the other arm section.

Arrangement for connecting a chassis link to a wheel carrier

An arrangement for connecting a link (1) of a chassis to a wheel carrier (2) by way of a ball sleeve joint (3). The link (1) has an link eye (1a), the ball sleeve joint (3) has a ball sleeve (7), and the wheel carrier (2) has two bearing eyes (4, 5). A sensor is located on the link eye (1a) and a signal generator is located on the ball sleeve (7). The sensor and signal generator form an angle measuring device. The ball sleeve (7) is connected to the bearing eyes (4, 5) via a threaded pin (6). An anti-rotation unit (9, 10) is provided between the ball sleeve (7) and the wheel carrier (2) in order to fix a defined angular position of the ball sleeve (7) with respect to the wheel carrier (2).

Adjustable Ball Joint

An apparatus is described for interconnecting a steering knuckle and lower suspension arm. The apparatus includes a ball joint assembly having a height adjustment feature and a non-concentric ball and shaft that together allow for increased range of camber adjustment.
