Active Vehicle Suspension System
20170096041 · 2017-04-06 ·

A vehicle suspension system is disclosed. The vehicle suspension system can include a first spring having a first spring characteristic, a second spring having a second spring characteristic, and an actuator coupled to the first and second springs such that actuation of the actuator causes a change in the first and second spring characteristics. The change in the second spring characteristic can be inversely proportional to the change in the first spring characteristic to adjust vehicle handling.

Control assembly for a bicycle shock absorber

A control assembly for an in-line bicycle shock absorber can include a control member rotatably mounted to a housing of the shock absorber, the control member having an interior bore, and with one end of the bore being closed and another end of the bore being open. The control assembly also includes a piston slidably mounted within the interior bore of the control member. The control member is rotated to adjust a first characteristic of the shock absorber and the piston is displaced within the interior bore to adjust a second characteristic of the shock absorber.

Subframe for a motor vehicle
09540046 · 2017-01-10 · ·

The invention relates to a subframe for a motor vehicle, comprising two front node elements (1) for connecting to a vehicle body, which node elements are spaced from each other in a vehicle transverse direction (y) and are connected to each other by means of a front subframe cross member (3), and comprising at least one functional part (28), in particular a rotary actuator, which extends adjacently to the subframe cross member (3) in a vehicle transverse direction (y), by means of which functional part a torsion can be applied to torsion springs that act on the vehicle wheel suspension. According to the invention, the subframe cross member (3) has an opening, which provides an additional installation space, in which the functional part (28) at least partially protrudes.

Self-propelled tandem axle trailer

A trailer for towing by a power vehicle is provided and generally includes a frame and a tandem wheel assembly.
