Strut assembly for vehicle
A strut assembly for a vehicle may include an insulator part connected to a vehicle body, a piston rod coupled to the insulator part, a damper cylinder coupled with the piston rod and having an operating fluid accommodated therein, a strike cap coupled to the upper portion of the damper cylinder, and a sliding part formed on the side surface of the strike cap. In the strut assembly, a dust cover is coupled to the sliding part. In addition, the sliding part includes one or more side surface holes formed on the side surface of the strike cap, a sliding protrusion coupled with the dust cover and mounted in each of the side surface holes, and a guide part formed in each of the side surface holes for restraining the sliding protrusion.
VIBRATION-DAMPING DEVICE BODY AND VIBRATION-DAMPING DEVICE
A vibration-damping device body (10) is provided that includes a first mounting member (11) mounted on one of a vibration-generating portion and a vibration-receiving portion via a bracket (2), a second mounting member (12) mounted on the other of the vibration-generating portion and the vibration-receiving portion, and an elastic body (13) connecting the first mounting member (11) and the second mounting member (12). The first mounting member (11) is fitted into a fitting hole (2a) formed in the bracket (2). A first guide portion (30) is formed on an outer circumferential surface of the first mounting member (11). A second guide portion (2f) is formed on an inner circumferential surface of the fitting hole (2a). The first guide portion (30) is fitted into the second guide portion (2f). The first mounting member (11) is formed of a synthetic resin material, and a metal fitting (40) having first engagement surfaces (42a) coming into contact with the second guide portion (2f) is arranged on the first guide portion (30).
Dampener insert
An assembly includes a vehicle component. The assembly includes a body embedded in the vehicle component, the body defining a chamber and having an outer surface defining an intrusion extending toward the chamber and engaged with the vehicle component. The assembly includes a plurality of dampening particles within the chamber.
Damper mount
Provided is a damper mount (1, 101, 201) configured to be interposed between a damper (11) of a wheel suspension device and a vehicle body (9). The damper mount includes: an annular outer member (22) fixed to the vehicle body; an annular inner member (21) fixed to the damper, one of the outer member and the inner member being received in another of the outer member and the inner member; a first magneto-elastic member (24) radially interposed between the inner member and the outer member; and a coil (25) configured to apply a magnetic flux to the first magneto-elastic member.
Damper bumper cap with labyrinth air passageway
A damper bumper cap for covering the rod side end of the damper tube containing a piston rod seal and for retaining a dust cover on the damper tube. The cap includes a side wall positioned in contact with the damper tube, an end wall that extends radially inwardly over the piston rod seal, and an annular skirt that is spaced radially outward of the side wall. First and second groups of connection wall segments extend radially between the side wall and the annular skirt at different heights to define vent openings in the spaces between the connection wall segments in the first and second groups of connection wall segments. The vent openings thus provide a plurality of tortuous airflow paths through the cap at circumferentially spaced locations.
MOTOR VEHICLE
A tiltable motor vehicle having 3 or more wheels and at least one bridge having opposite first and second ends where first and second wheel hub assemblies are disposed. First and second wheels are mounted on the first and second wheel hub assemblies. First and second suspension guides are also associated with the first and second wheel hub assemblies, each being attached to a respective end of the at least one bridge such that the suspension guide is rotatable about at least a tilt axis relative to the at least one bridge. Each wheel hub assembly being movable along or across the respective suspension guide such that the wheels are movable relative to the at least one bridge during suspension action. Movement of the wheels and the wheel hub assemblies associated with suspension rebound and compression action and rotation of the bridges relative to the body associated with tilting action are both substantially independent of movement of the steering element.
Rack and pinion steering system
A vehicle has a frame, a motor, a driveshaft operatively connected to the motor, a front differential operatively connected to the driveshaft, a pair of front half-shafts operatively connecting the front differential to front wheels, at least one rear wheel, a steering wheel, a steering column operatively connected to the steering wheel, a rack and pinion assembly operatively connected to the steering column, the rack and pinion assembly being disposed rearward of the front differential, a right tie rod having a left end operatively connected to a rack of the rack and pinion assembly and a right end operatively connected to the right wheel, and a left tie rod having a right end operatively connected to the rack and a left end operatively connected to the left wheel. The inner ends of the tie rods are disposed forwardly of a vertically and laterally extending central plane of the rack.
