ROLL CONTROL SYSTEM AND VEHICLE
A roll control system for a vehicle capable of improving the versatility compared to the related art is obtained. A roll control system according to the invention includes: a first component connected to a right connecting device that connects a vehicle body and a right wheel; a second component connected to a left connecting device that connects the vehicle body and a left wheel; and a damper. The damper includes a first damper component and a second damper component reciprocatably connected to each other. The first component includes a first base portion rotatably held by the vehicle body, a first wheel-side arm portion rotatably connected to the right connecting device, and a first damper-side arm portion rotatably connected to the first damper component. The second component includes a second base portion rotatably held by the vehicle body, a second wheel-side arm portion rotatably connected to the left connecting device, and a second damper-side arm portion rotatably connected to the second damper component.
Active roll control apparatus
An active roll control apparatus is provided. To adjust a stiffness value of the stabilizer bar by moving a stabilizer bar installed between left and right wheels of a vehicle and extending in a first direction and a stabilizer link connected to the stabilizer bar, the active roll control apparatus includes a sliding part having one side connected to the stabilizer bar and the other side connected to the stabilizer link to slide the stabilizer link in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction, and a movement restricting part installed at the sliding part to restrict movement when the sliding part slides.
Vehicle damping system and vehicle
An oil channel that connects a right damper and a left damper includes a switching valve arranged between a right oil channel ER and a left oil channel EL. The switching valve includes a valve main body in which a first switching channel is formed for connecting the right oil channel ER and the left oil channel EL. The valve main body is rotatable to a first position where the first switching channel connects the right oil channel ER and the left oil channel EL to each other and to a second position different from the first position. According to this damping system, it is possible to adjust oil flow in the oil channel by performing a simple operation for the switching valve.
SUSPENSION SYSTEMS USING HYDRAULIC DAMPERS
A dual-mode suspension system using hydraulic dampers is disclosed. One or more dampers on each side of the four-wheel suspension system are coupled to a respective damper on the other side via a damper valve. One or more leaf springs may be arranged between the leading links coupled to some of the dampers, and trailing links coupled to other of the dampers. The suspension system may advantageously engage, lock, or partially disengage the respective dampers connected by the valve on each side of the system. Manipulating the valve to control engagement of the dampers, which may depend on the speed and related issues, provides control over whether heave motions should be separated from roll. In another embodiment, one or more single or double acting hydraulic cylinders may be used to engage dampers.
System and Method For Adjusting A Motor Vehicle Chassis
An adjustment system and method for adjusting a chassis property of a motor vehicle wherein an understeering sensitivity of the motor vehicle is increased upon detecting that a trailer has been coupled to the motor vehicle. A detection unit operates to detect when a trailer is attached or coupled to the motor vehicle.
MECHANICAL LEG AND WHEELED MOBILE DEVICE
A mechanical leg comprises a frame, a retractable member, a wheel, an extension and retraction driving member, a travel driving member, an auxiliary leg, and an auxiliary wheel. The extension and retraction driving member is located on a side of the frame. The retractable member is connected to the extension and retraction driving member. The wheel is connected to the retractable member. The wheel is further connected to the travel driving member. A first end of the auxiliary leg is connected to the auxiliary wheel, and a second end of the auxiliary leg is located on the frame. The retractable member extends under the driving of the extension and retraction driving member to drive the wheel to jump. The wheel is driven by the travel driving member to move. When the auxiliary wheel contacts the ground, the mechanical leg moves with the rolling of the wheel and the auxiliary wheel.
INDUCTION HEATING DEVICE AND METHOD FOR HEATING STABILIZERS
An induction heating device according to one embodiment includes a first coil portion and a second coil portion. A bar-shaped workpiece is placed between the first coil portion and the second coil portion. The first coil portion includes a pair of first narrow pitch portions formed in respective end portions thereof, a first wide pitch portion formed between the first narrow pitch portions, and a first medium pitch portion formed in the center. The second coil portion includes a pair of second narrow pitch portions formed in respective end portions, a second wide pitch portion formed between the second narrow pitch portions, and a second medium pitch portion formed in the center.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS TO DETERMINE ABNORMALITIES IN A VEHICLE STABILIZER SYSTEM
Systems and methods to detect abnormalities within a stabilizer system for a vehicle. A method includes receiving suspension system data from one or more vehicle sensors, calculating a roll gradient from the suspension system data, determining whether the calculated roll gradient is greater than a predetermined roll gradient threshold, and setting a diagnostic notification if the calculated roll gradient is greater than the predetermined roll gradient threshold.
Symmetrically dynamic equalized volume and pressure air management system
An air management system for a vehicle having a supply tank, a system controller integrated with the supply tank, a first pneumatic circuit pneumatically connected to the system controller, and a second pneumatic circuit pneumatically connected to the system controller. The system controller adjusts independently air pressure of the first pneumatic circuit and the second pneumatic circuit without establishing pneumatic communication between the first and second pneumatic circuits. The system controller establishes pneumatic communication between the first and second pneumatic circuits when the system controller is not adjusting independently the air pressure of the first pneumatic circuit and the second pneumatic circuit.
