INDEPENDENT SUSPENSION
An independent suspension for vehicles, in particular for the transport of people and/or materials, including a hub defining a rotation axis of the vehicle wheel, an electric motor, operatively connected to the hub and configured to put the hub in rotation. The electric motor extends along a development axis thereof parallel to the rotation axis of the hub.
MULTI-INPUT, MULTI-OUTPUT ACTUATOR AND ASSEMBLIES USING SAME
An exemplary actuator includes a motor, a transmission, and a support structure. The motor includes two torque sources that apply respective input torques to a rotor, which rotates about a rotation axis in response to a net input torque. The torque sources are arranged such that the input torques are additive, resulting in a vector-summated torque output. The torque sources also generate corresponding reactive torques that are applied to the first stator and the second stator. The transmission couples and constrains the first stator and the second stator such that rotational motion of one stator causes counter rotation of the other stator. Thus, the reactive torques are subtractive resulting a differential torque output. In some applications, the differential torque output is used to actuate a suspension of a vehicle. The actuator is also coupled to the vehicle via the support structure, which also reflects a reaction force or torque to actuate other subsystems (e.g., anti-dive, anti-squat).
STEERABLE INDEPENDENT WHEEL SUSPENSION WITH ADDITIONAL BRACKET
The invention relates inter alia to a steerable independent wheel suspension for a mobile agricultural machine. A support device serves for the pivotable mounting of the independent wheel suspension on a frame part of the agricultural machine. At least one guide column is mounted displaceably in the support device. A wheel hub is guided displaceably along the at least one guide column. A bracket is connected fixedly to the at least one guide column so as to move with the at least one guide column. The bracket can allow a flexible and improved arrangement of height adjustment means, damping means and spring-mounting means of the independent wheel suspension.
Drive train and suspension for an autonomous ground vehicle
A skid-steer delivery autonomous ground vehicle has a drive train and suspension that aids in maneuverability. The AGV has six wheels, each of which is powered by its own motor. The AGV has features that diminish the dragging effect on the wheels, either by choice of wheel features or by taking weight off the front wheels during turning.
Vehicle suspension
An assembly includes a suspension link, an arm, an actuator, and a lock. The arm is connected to the suspension link. The arm includes a plurality of holes. The actuator is connected to the arm. The lock includes a pin releasably engageable with the plurality of holes of the arm.
ELECTROMECHANICAL BRAKE SYSTEM HAVING SUSPENSION CONTROL FUNCTION
The present disclosure relates to an electromechanical brake system having a suspension control function. The electromechanical brake system includes an electromechanical brake connected to each wheel of a vehicle to brake the vehicle, a suspension configured to control suspension of the vehicle, a motor configured to provide driving force to the electromechanical brake or to the suspension, a first clutch configured to connect the electromechanical brake and the motor to each other, a second clutch configured to connect the suspension and the motor to each other, and a controller configured to output a control signal for controlling the motor to be connected to one of the first clutch and the second clutch based on a state signal of the vehicle.
Trailer including articulating trailer tongue
A trailer includes a trailer bed and a trailer tongue. The trailer bed includes a trailer frame, a body, a platform, and one or more sets of two or more wheels. The trailer tongue includes a tongue arm, a trailer hitch component coupled to the tongue arm, and one or more brackets coupled to the trailer frame via a bracket shaft. The trailer tongue is couplable to a vehicle hitch component. The trailer tongue is rotatable about an axis through the bracket shaft. The one or more brackets include one or more cut-outs configured to receive a locking component. The trailer tongue is securable via the locking component at a select angle relative to a ground surface. The trailer hitch component is positionable via the locking component at a select height relative to a height of the vehicle hitch component based on the angle relative to the ground surface.
VEHICLE
A vehicle, in particular a single-track vehicle, has a small track width in relation to the vehicle height, and three or four wheels. In order to provide a vehicle which allows for a high traffic flow speed at a high traffic density, the vehicle has automatically controlled tilt kinematics, in which the vehicle body and the wheels tilt about a longitudinal axis of the vehicle.
VEHICLE WITH CHASSIS HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
A machine includes a chassis, a plurality of ground-engaging elements supporting the chassis above a ground surface, a motor for driving at least one of the ground-engaging elements and a plurality of assemblies supporting the chassis on the ground-engaging elements. Each of the assemblies is configured to selectively raise and lower the chassis relative to the ground surface and includes a first attachment component for attaching the assembly to one of the ground-engaging elements, a second attachment component for attaching the assembly to the chassis, an adjustment component for shifting the first attachment component between a plurality of operating positions relative to the second attachment component. A control system allows an operator to remotely control the adjustment components of each of the assemblies.
