A vehicle vibration control system includes: a buffer mechanism that is disposed between a wheel and a vehicle body and capable of adjusting buffer performance as a function of reducing vibration input to the vehicle body from the wheel; a weight detection unit that detects the weight of the vehicle body; a traveling position detection unit that detects the traveling position of the vehicle body; and a control device that controls the buffer performance of the buffer mechanism. The control device acquires a driving pattern in which the traveling position of the vehicle body and the buffer performance were set, on the basis of the weight of the vehicle body, and controls the buffer performance of the buffer mechanism on the basis of the acquired driving pattern and a result detected in the traveling position detection unit.

A suspension element includes a main body having an end cap defining an internal volume and a tubular element slidably engaged with the main body. The suspension element further includes a first piston and a flow control element. The flow control element is configured to prevent movement of the tubular element relative the main body in a direction. The suspension element may further include a locking member and a piston. The locking member may be configured to engage a barrier of the main body when the first piston traverses at least a predetermined distance towards the end cap. The locking member may be affixed to the tubular element and may fully surround the tubular element. Together the flow control element and the locking member are configured to prevent movement of the suspension element.

Suspension with jounce bumper balanced for caster control
A suspension includes a jounce bumper, and a striker. A spring biases the knuckle toward a first position. One of the spring and the jounce bumper is disposed forward of a kingpin axis of the knuckle and the other of the spring and the jounce bumper is disposed rearward of the kingpin axis. When in a first position, the spring is a first spring length. When in a second position, the spring is shorter than in the first position and the jounce bumper contacts the striker. When in a third position, the spring is shorter than in the second position and the jounce bumper is compressed against the striker to be shorter than in the second position. When moving between the second and third positions, the spring and jounce bumper impart moments on the knuckle that approximately balance each other to maintain a desired caster angle.

The disclosed invention relates to the mechanical engineering industry, in particular, transport, exercise and medical training machines or appliances. The rotary hydraulic damper has a body that is formed by two hermetically connected base members in the form of cups which are directed to each other by their open parts and installed on an axle and are suitable for reciprocal oscillations. Internal surfaces of the body form a cavity in which partitions with transfer holes are installed and divide the cavity into chambers at that one end of each partition is fixed in turn on an internal end face of one or another base member and opposite ends of the partitions remain free. The axle is unloaded and dampening takes place due to oscillations of the base members and transfer of working fluid from one chamber into another.
