DOMESTIC DISHWASHER
A household dishwasher includes a washing container receiving a dishwasher load, a spray arm for applying washing liquor and/or fresh water to the dishwasher load, a drive system for actively driving the spray arm, and an overload protection mechanism configured to move autonomously from a coupling position, in which power is transmitted between the drive system and the spray arm, into a decoupling position, in which the power transmission between the drive system and the spray arm is interrupted, when the spray arm becomes blocked
Dishwasher with image-based position sensor
A dishwasher and method utilize an image-based position sensor that is positioned to sense the rotational position of a discretely directable tubular spray element driven by a tubular spray element drive.
Water-bearing domestic appliance
A water-conducting household appliance includes a moving component, an electric motor for moving the component, a load apparatus configured to apply a resistance to counter movement of the component as a function of a position of the moving component, and a control apparatus for actuating the electric motor. The control apparatus is configured to detect a drive current drawn which is drawn by the electric motor and is a function of the resistance applied by the load apparatus and to ascertain the position of the moving component as a function of the detected drive current.
Diverter assembly for a dishwasher appliance and a method of operating the same
A dishwasher appliance includes a sump that collects wash fluid and a circulation pump for urging the wash fluid through a supply conduit to a plurality of spray arms. A diverter assembly is operably coupled to the supply conduit for selectively diverting the flow of wash fluid to the plurality of spray arms and a rotation detection system monitors rotation of the spray arms. A controller detects rotation of the plurality of spray arms and determines a position of the diverter assembly based on the rotation.
CONTROL METHOD FOR DISHWASHER AND DISHWASHER
Provided are a control method for a dishwasher and a dishwasher. The dishwasher includes a spray rod and a spray rod driver configured to drive the spray rod to rotate. The control method for the dishwasher includes acquiring a predetermined washing signal; controlling the spray rod driver to drive the spray rod to rotate into a predetermined washing region from a current position; and adjusting a parameter of sprayed fluid flow when the spray rod rotates into the predetermined washing region.
Dishwasher with image-based position sensor
A dishwasher and method utilize an image-based position sensor that is positioned to sense the rotational position of a discretely directable tubular spray element driven by a tubular spray element drive.
DISHWASHER WITH IMAGE-BASED POSITION SENSOR
A dishwasher and method utilize an image-based position sensor that is positioned to sense the rotational position of a discretely directable tubular spray element driven by a tubular spray element drive.
Dishwasher steam generator
A dishwasher and method utilize one or more sprayers to generate steam within a wash tub of a dishwasher by directing one or more sprays of fluid onto a heating element disposed in the wash tub of the dishwasher.
Dishwasher
A dishwasher may include a washing chamber and a wash arm arrangement having a wash arm rotatably arranged in the washing chamber, and a satellite spray device arranged on the wash arm. The dishwasher may include at least one sensor configured to sense a rotational position of the wash arm and a control unit configured to monitor consecutive sensed rotational positions of the wash arm. The control unit may be configured to calculate a rotational speed of the wash arm based on an elapsed time and a rotational distance between two sensed rotational positions, and may be configured to estimate a current rotational position of the wash arm based on an elapsed time since a previously sensed rotational position and the calculated rotational speed. The control unit may adapt the pumping intensity of a pump of the dishwasher based on the estimated current rotational position of the wash arm.
A DISHWASHING MACHINE AND METHOD
Dishwashing machine comprising: a controller; a spray arm assembly comprising a spray arm having one or more spray holes for spraying a washing load with water, and a pipe for delivering water to the spray arm; a pump for pumping water through the pipe and to the spray arm; the pipe being constructed and arranged to at least partially restrict flow of water from the pump to at least a part of the spray arm dependent on spray arm orientation relative to the pipe, a power consumption of the pump thereby being dependent at least in part on the spray arm orientation relative to the pipe; and the controller being configured to monitor the power consumption of the pump in order to determine rotational information of the spray arm.
