System and Method for Providing Backup Power
20220111749 · 2022-04-14 ·

A system includes an energy storage device for increasing the mileage of an electric vehicle. A power bank provides backup power to the electric vehicle, the power bank including one or more batteries connected in series or parallel. A housing section is arranged in the energy storage device for securing the power bank and a plurality of tires is configured to bestow mobility to the energy storage device. A towing or tethering mechanism is operable for engaging the energy storage device to the electric vehicle. A cable or power cord with power adapter or plug is configured to electrically couple the electric vehicle to the energy storage device. A power switch and/or controller is configured to switch to the power bank once the power switch detects battery in the electric vehicle is depleted. In the case of two or more power bank systems, a power switch and/or controller is able to select between which power bank within an ESD has available charge and which one has been fully depleted.

SPRING HANGER FOR TRAILER FRAME

A spring hanger assembly may be formed pieces shaped to increase the stiffness and strength. The spring hanger assembly may comprise separate pieces, such as an inner section and an outer section. The spring hanger assembly may be attached to a frame using fasteners or hucks.

Trailer with positioning system

Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide a trailer, including: a chassis and a plurality of positioning assemblies, each positioning assembly including a positioning arm configured to move between a first position in which the chassis is in a lowered position and a second position in which chassis is in a raised position.

Load relief control system

A suspension system is provided comprising at least one ride height valve, when engaged, that allows an air flow to engage a hydraulic control valve such that it initiates either extension or retraction of a hydraulic piston from a cylinder. Extension or retraction of the hydraulic piston causes a booster frame to be bias downwardly or upwardly, respectively. The ride height valve is engaged when a booster axle is at a predetermined distance from the frame.

AXLE ARRANGEMENT FOR AN AGRICULTURAL BALER
20210268855 · 2021-09-02 ·

An axle arrangement for a baler having a chassis includes a first axle having opposite ends and a pair of suspension cylinders, with each suspension cylinder positioned at a corresponding end of the first axle to accommodate generally vertical loads. The first axle is coupled with the chassis to accommodate generally horizontal loads. A second axle has opposite ends and a pair of suspension cylinders, with each suspension cylinder positioned at a corresponding end of the second axle to accommodate generally vertical loads. The second axle is coupled with the first axle to accommodate generally horizontal loads.

WHEEL SUSPENSION SYSTEM
20210237527 · 2021-08-05 · ·

It is disclosed a system for leveling of load between front and rear wheels on a trailer, consisting of a rubber-torsion axle FIG. D with longitudinal members 4 which center is pivotally mounted to the torsion axles pivot arms 7. With a wheel in each end of the longitudinal members, the system is working as a complete bogie unit which has vertical spring motion effect, as shown in FIG. B. For trailers with no need of such spring motion effect, the longitudinal members can be mounted direct to the inner tube 9 in the rubber-torsion element.

AXLE ARRANGEMENT FOR AN AGRICULTURAL BALER
20210252929 · 2021-08-19 ·

An axle arrangement for a baler includes a first axle, a second axle, and a pair of elongate members. The first axle has first and second ends. First and second suspension cylinders are positioned at the first and second ends. The first axle is coupled with the chassis. The second axle has first and second ends. First and second suspension cylinders are positioned at the first and second ends to accommodate generally vertical loads. A first elongate member interconnects the first end of the second axle with the first end of the first axle. A second elongate member interconnects the second end of the second axle with the second end of the first axle.

Axle sensor mounting
11130479 · 2021-09-28 · ·

A vehicle weight sensing system is particularly useful for trailers. An axle tube is mounted to the vehicle or trailer through its suspension members that may be leaf springs. A mounting block is affixed to the axle tube for mounting a strain gauge. The mounting block is fixed to the axle tube between the suspension members connected to the axle tube. The mounting block has a mounting surface opposite to the mating surface and a notch extends from the mating surface toward the mounting surface. The notch terminates between the mating surface and the mounting surface. The notch separates rigidified sections of the mounting block and the rigidified sections straddle the notch. The stain gauge measures strain in the axle and thereby generates a signal proportional to the weight on the trailer. The signal can be used to properly proportion a brake system on the trailer.

Clamping system
11104389 · 2021-08-31 ·

A clamping system for mating an I-Beam frame to an undercarriage is disclosed. The clamping system utilizes clamping brackets to secure the undercarriage to the trailer frame. The undercarriage has adapter sides oriented perpendicular to the undercarriage adapter bottom. The clamping brackets have two portions oriented perpendicular to each other. Holes are located in the clamping brackets to receive bolts or screws. The trailer frame is aligned onto the undercarriage and positioned such that proper tongue weight is applied. The clamping brackets are rigidly installed on the clamping bracket sides. Clamping screws are installed into the clamping brackets and torqued to a value such that a compressive force is applied between the bottom of the I-Beam and the undercarriage adapter bottom. The compressive force applied prevents unwanted relative motion between the I-Beam frame and the undercarriage during use.
