Dishwasher with unitary wash module
An automatic dishwasher having a tub defining a treating chamber and a housing physically separate from the tub and defining a sump to receive liquid sprayed into the tub, the housing having an inlet fluidly connected to a liquid outlet of the tub and an outlet fluidly coupled to a sprayer located within the tub to define a recirculation path for the sprayed liquid.
Dishwasher with overflow conduit
A dishwasher for treating dishes according to at least one cycle of operation and having a tub at least partially defining a treating chamber and defining an access opening, a sprayer providing a spray of liquid into the treating chamber, a liquid recirculation system defining a recirculation flow path for recirculating the sprayed liquid from the treating chamber to the sprayer, and an air supply system having a conduit configured to function as an overflow conduit.
DISHWASHER APPLIANCE AND METHOD FOR OPERATING A DISHWASHER APPLIANCE INCLUDING A CLEAN INDICATOR
A dishwasher appliance includes a tub; a door, a sensor, and an indicator. The dishwasher performs an operation including determining a completion of a washing cycle, turning on the indicator, accumulating a first value relating to a first characteristic and a second value relating to a second characteristic, comparing the first accumulated value against a first threshold value and the second accumulated value against a second threshold value, determining that at least one of the first or second accumulated value is greater than its respective threshold value, and implementing a responsive action after determining that the at least one of the first or second accumulated value is greater than its respective threshold value.
DISHWASHER, METHOD FOR CONTROLLING OPERATION OF DISHWASHER, AND MEMORY STORING PROGRAM THEREFOR
The present invention relates to a dishwasher, a method for controlling the operation of the dishwasher, and a program therefor. To this end, a dishwasher according to one embodiment of the present invention may comprise: a tub having a washing space therein and open on the front; a door which opens and closes the open front of the tub; a drying air supply unit including a blowing motor, a blowing fan, a heater, and a temperature sensor; and a processor controlling the operation of the dishwasher. The processor can control the ON/OFF of the heater so that the temperature of the heater is maintained within a first threshold range when the time during which the dishwasher enters and operates in a door open drying process is less than a predetermined time. Accordingly, the present invention can efficiently dry dishes by controlling the operation of the heater so that the temperature of the heater is maintained within a certain range.
Direction-dependent activation of the door operation of a domestic dishwasher
A household dishwasher includes a washing container having a loading opening, a door, an electrical drive device configured to move the door between a closed position, in which the door closes the loading opening, and an open position, in which the washing container is accessible from outside, and a control unit configured to identify a manual movement of the door performed by an operator in a direction of movement by detecting a characteristic variable of the drive device and to move the door further in the direction of movement via the drive device as a result of the manual movement of the door by the operator.
DISHWASHER APPLIANCE AND METHOD FOR OPERATING A DISHWASHER APPLIANCE INCLUDING A CLEAN TONE OUTPUT
A dishwasher appliance includes a tub; a door; a sensor; and an audio module. The dishwasher performs an operation including determining a completion of a washing cycle; accumulating a first value relating to a first characteristic and a second value relating to a second characteristic; comparing the first accumulated value against a first threshold value and the second accumulated value against a second threshold value; determining that each of the first and second accumulated values is less than its respective threshold value; detecting a movement of the door from the latched position to the unlatched position; and implementing a responsive action in response to detecting the movement of the door from the latched position to the unlatched position.
DOOR LOCK DEVICE, ELECTRICAL APPLIANCE AND CONTROL METHOD
A control method for a door lock device, the control method including: determining whether there is an obstacle in a gap with which a door of an electrical apparatus is opened in the process of the door moving toward a closed position; controlling a motor to rotate in a second direction of rotation for a predetermined period of time if there is an obstacle in the gap, and repeating the step until the obstacle is removed from the gap; and controlling the motor to rotate in a first direction of rotation if there is no obstacle in the gap, so as to allow the door to move to the closed position. The control method can prevent an obstacle (for example, a hand of a user accidentally reaching into the gap) from being clamped during an automatic door closing process for a dishwasher.
DISHWASHER AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING DISHWASHER
Disclosed herein are a dishwasher and a method of controlling the dishwasher. The dishwasher includes: a first sensor configured to detect whether a push bar for selectively opening and closing a door has deviated from a first reference point; a second sensor configured to detect changes in the signal attributable to the movement of the push bar based on a second reference point that is different from the first reference point; a third sensor configured to detect changes in the signal attributable to the movement of a movable member, to which the push bar can be coupled, based on a third reference point that is different from the second reference point; and a control unit configured to determine the opened/closed state of the door based on the detection result of at least one of the first, second, and third sensors.
DISHWASHER APPLIANCE AND WINTERIZATION OPERATION FOR A DISHWASHER APPLIANCE
A dishwasher appliance connected to a water supply circuit includes a tub defining a wash chamber; a pump in fluid communication with the wash chamber; a user interface comprising at least one input; and a controller operably coupled with the user interface and the pump, the controller being configured to perform a winterization operation. The winterization operation includes determining that a municipal water source has been disconnected from the water supply circuit; supplying a volume of water to the wash chamber after determining that the municipal water source has been disconnected; determining that the volume of water within the wash chamber is greater than a predetermined minimum volume of water; circulating, via the pump, the volume of water within the wash chamber for a predetermined length of time; and draining the volume of water from the wash chamber after circulating the volume of water for the predetermined length of time.
