Warewasher and associated spray arm assembly
A warewash machine includes a chamber for receiving wares, the chamber having at least one spray zone in which a liquid is recirculated from a tank to a spray tube assembly having a plurality of spray nozzles. The spray tube assembly includes a plurality of spray tubes, each including an input end and a distal end connected to a tube support, which has a fixed part and a cover movable between a closed and open positions. Each distal end has an opening that is covered in the closed position and uncovered, perhaps fully, in the open position. The tube support may include at least one latching assembly for holding the cover in the closed position. The cover and the access door may be cooperatively configured such that, when the cover is in the open position, the cover prevents the access door from moving to the closed operating position.
DISHWASHER APPLIANCES AND METHODS FOR DETERMINING WASH ADDITIVE LEVELS
A method of operating a dishwasher appliance, as provided herein, may include detecting a door of the dishwasher appliance in an open position and determining the door is maintained in the open position for a preset minimum continuous period. The method may further include detecting the door in a closed position following the preset minimum continuous period. The method may still further include measuring an additive volume of a wash additive in an additive compartment on the door while the door is in the closed position following the preset minimum continuous period.
Apparatus and method for dishwasher status indication
An apparatus and method is describe herein for a device which when attached to a front-loading dishwashing appliance with a vented drop-down door gives an indication to the user as to whether the dishes, glasses and utensils placed within are soiled or cleaned. The device includes a heat sensing means attached to a extending member, an inclination sensing means which is responsive to the deviation of the dishwashing appliance door and therefore the device from the vertical position and a system of timers.
Reusable Drinking Straw Washing Apparatus
Embodiments seek to disclose a drinking straw washing apparatus that includes a casing. A reservoir is positioned proximate to the casing and configured to comprise a cleaning solution. Cavities are serially positioned in the casing. A primary conduit is positioned proximate to the casing and operationally coupled to the reservoir. A plurality of drawers are each slidably and demountably positioned within a cavity. Applicators are positioned within each of the cavities and operationally coupled to the primary conduit. A secondary conduit is positioned in each drawer and operationally coupled to each of the nipples. Nipples are positioned within each of the drawers, each nipple is operationally coupled to the secondary conduit and configured to engage a straw end. A primary control circuit is positioned proximate to the casing. The drawers are hot swappable. The secondary conduit is coupled to the primary conduit when the drawer is positioned within the cavity.
Dishwasher including rack position sensor to control capture of rack images by a camera
A dishwasher utilizes one or more sensors capable of detecting when a rack is at an operative position at which the rack is positioned within the wash tub during washing and/or an extended position at which at least a portion of the rack is extended beyond the wash tub for loading or unloading of utensils, thereby allowing image captures by a camera to be timed relative to the movement of the rack into, between and/or away from the operative and/or extended positions.
Automatic door for dishwasher with multi-position sensing
A dishwasher (10) provides a motorized latch element extending to open the dishwasher door (18) for venting according to sense positions. A robust rack and pinion mechanism driven by a DC motor (50) provides flexible positioning of the door for different applications while ensuring sufficient force to compress the dishwasher gasket for sealing.
ELECTRICAL HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCE AND METHOD FOR OPERATING THE ELECTRICAL HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCE
An electrical household appliance includes a communication interface configured to communicate with a communication device through a communication connection. A remote control facility is configured to make it possible to operate the electrical household appliance by way of a communication device. A door is configured to open a region of the electrical household appliance in an open state or to close the region in a closed state. A monitoring facility is configured to detect the state of the door. A controller is configured to automatically activate the remote control facility if the door is in the closed state and the electrical household appliance is activated locally. A method for operating an electrical household appliance is also provided.
AUTOMATIC DOOR OPENING SYSTEM AND A METHOD THEREOF
An automatic door opening system suitable for use in an electrical device having a body with an inner chamber, a door hinged to the body from one side, and a processing unit, the automatic door opening system having a rod that allows the door to open by applying a pushing force to the door while moving in a forward direction, and allows the door to be released when the rod brings into the backward position by moving in the backward direction.
DISHWASHER
A dishwasher (1) in the form of an industrial dishwasher which is designed in the form of a box-type dishwasher, configured in the form of a hood-type dishwasher and has a treatment chamber (5) with at least one wash system designed in the form of a recirculation system. In order to make it possible to optimise the actual potential capacity of the dishwasher, to be precise while at the same time easing the burden on the operating staff, the dishwasher (1) is assigned a loading/unloading apparatus (4, 4) for preferably optionally automatically loading the treatment chamber (5) with washware (9) and/or for preferably optionally automatically unloading washware (9) from the treatment chamber (5).
