Realized is a technique of highly accurately calculating a state quantity of a vehicle. An ECU (600) of a vehicle (900) includes a ground contact load calculating section (610), an input quantity calculating section (620), a first state quantity calculating section (630), an observable calculating section (640), a second state quantity calculating section (650), and a damper ECU (660). The ECU (600) calculates a first state quantity of the vehicle (900) by inputting, into a vehicle model, a value calculated from a G sensor value and/or the like, and calculates a second state quantity of the vehicle (900) by correcting the first state quantity with use of an observable which is calculated from a ground contact load and a spring constant gain of a tire.

ELECTROMECHANICAL VEHICLE HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT UNIT AND VEHICLE HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT METHOD

Vehicle cab suspension control systems are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, the cab suspension control systems can include front cab-to-frame mounts that include controllable elastomer-based isolators that can provide real time variable damping to improve ride quality and/or road holding and reduce cab roll in response to, for example, input from one or more cab and/or frame mounted accelerometers, position sensors, etc. Embodiments of the control systems described herein can utilize a single vehicle controller (e.g., an ECU) to control all of the cab suspension components (e.g., semi-active damping technologies, air spring technologies, etc.) employed on a vehicle to provide a single suspension control solution that can provide improved ride performance, road holding, etc.

Suspension control apparatus

A voltage converter of a high voltage driver generates a high voltage applied to an electrorheological damper. The voltage converter and the electrorheological damper are electrically connected together through a connecting portion. The connecting portion comprises an electrode pin that connects the voltage converter and an electrode cylinder of the electrorheological damper; a ground pin that connects an external cylinder of the electrorheological damper and ground, and a ground detection pin disposed separately from the ground pin and connected to the ground through the external cylinder and the ground pin. When the ground detection pin and the ground are disconnected, the voltage converter discontinues the voltage generation with or without a command (control signal) of a sub-controller.

Vehicle damping control

A system for damping control for a vehicle includes a parameter component and a damping adjustment component. The parameter component is configured to determine one or more driving parameters of a vehicle. The one or more driving parameters include a velocity of the vehicle. The damping adjustment component is configured to adjust damping of suspension of the vehicle during driving based on the one or more driving parameters. The damping adjustment component is also configured to adjust damping of suspension at a zero velocity for a threshold time period in response to transitioning from a non-zero velocity to the zero velocity.

Enhanced vehicle stability

An assembly includes a leadscrew defining a central axis, a strut movable along the leadscrew upon rotation of the leadscrew, a camber angle of a wheel changeable according to movement of the strut along the leadscrew, and a motor drivably connected to the leadscrew, the motor defining a motor axis, wherein the central axis of the leadscrew is transverse to the motor axis.

PULLING COMPENSATION APPARATUS FOR VEHICLE

Disclosed is a pulling compensation apparatus for a vehicle including: a main body part capable of loading a power engine of the vehicle and goods or carrying people; a transfer part transferring the main body part; a sensor part sensing a height and a slope of the main body part, pulling due to motion inertia and an obstacle to transmit a signal; a controller embedded with a computer receiving the signal of the sensor part; and a pulling reduction part controlled by the controller to reduce the pulling and shocks of the main body part. The pulling reduction part varies the height to reduce the pulling and shocks of the main body part when the pulling of the main body part and the obstacle are sensed by the sensor part.

Stabilizer system for vehicle

In each of a first stabilizer device and a second stabilizer device, a stabilizer bar is supported by one or more cylinders, a communication passage via which two fluid chambers of each cylinder are connected is provided, and an opening-closing valve is disposed in the communication passage such that an inter-fluid-chamber communication state where the two fluid chambers communicate with each other and an inter-fluid-chamber shutoff state where the two fluid chambers are shut off from each other are selectively established. Hereby, a vehicle body roll restraining effect is achieved in the inter-fluid-chamber shutoff state while the vehicle body roll restraining effect is cancelled in the inter-fluid-chamber communication state. A linkage mechanism by which those two states of each of the stabilizer devices are changed in conjunction with each other is provided.

Vehicle
