SUSPENSION SYSTEM
The present invention provides a suspension system capable of adjusting a vehicle height in a short time. The suspension system includes a front wheel-side suspension and a rear wheel-side suspension each provided between a vehicle body and an axle and configured to adjust a vehicle height according to supply and discharge of hydraulic fluid, a pressurization device configured to pressurize the hydraulic fluid, and a first tank and a second tank configured to store therein the hydraulic fluid pressurized by the pressurization device. When the suspension system lowers the vehicle height by each of the front wheel-side suspension and the rear wheel-side suspension, any one of the front wheel-side suspension and the rear wheel-side suspension discharges the hydraulic fluid to the first tank, and the other of the front wheel-side suspension and the rear wheel-side suspension discharges the hydraulic fluid into the second tank by the pressurization device.
ROBOT AND ADJUSTMENT METHOD FOR SUSPENSION SYSTEM OF ROBOT
The present disclosure provides a robot and an adjustment method for a suspension system of a robot. The robot includes a robot body, a detection system, and a controller. The robot body includes a mobile chassis. The mobile chassis includes a suspension system. The detection system and the suspension system are electrically connected to the controller. The detection system is configured to detect operating information of the robot body. The controller is configured to control the suspension system to adjust a suspension hardness of the suspension system based on the operating information. The operating information includes at least one of ground information during operation of the robot body and pose information of the robot body.
Peripheral image generation device and display control method
A peripheral image generation device acquires a plurality of camera images obtained from a plurality of cameras each of which captures a periphery of the vehicle. The peripheral image generation device stores a traveling direction camera image that is a part or all of images included in the plurality of camera images and captured at least in a traveling direction of the vehicle. The peripheral image generation device generates an underfloor transparent image that is a composite image transmitting a bottom of the vehicle based on the plurality of camera images and the traveling direction camera image.
Suspension pre-load management system
A vehicle suspension pre-load management system is disclosed. At least one suspension component, such as a motorcycle shock absorber, has an expandable chamber that with increased volume of a nearly incompressible fluid increases the suspensions pre-load. In one embodiment the system utilizes a controller, a pressure sensor, a pump, and a number of solenoids in a manifold block to allow a user to set a desired pre-load level. In another embodiment the controller monitors the pressure of the chamber and maintains a desired pre-load setting. In yet another embodiment, the controller identifies a hard braking event such that would cause a brake dive and increases the pre-load to counter act the dive.
Apparatus and method for controlling vehicle height
A vehicle height control apparatus includes an information acquisition device that acquires pressure data on a pressure inside an air tank storing compressed air and obstacle data on an obstacle in front of a vehicle, and a controller that calculates a target vehicle height based on the obstacle data, calculates a required distance required to reach the target vehicle height based on the pressure of the compressed air inside the air tank, and determines a vehicle height control timing, resolving a problem that the vehicle height is unnecessarily quickly controlled compared to the position of the obstacle, or is controlled after the vehicle passes through the obstacle to reduce the ride comfort.
Adjustable suspensions and vehicle operation for off-road recreational vehicles
Suspension systems for recreational vehicles are disclosed. The suspension systems may include at least one adjustable member coupling a sway bar to respective suspensions. The suspension systems may include a torque actuator associated with a sway bar.
Axel load monitoring system
An axle load monitoring system for a load-transporting motor vehicle having one or more auxiliary axles wherein the monitoring system detects a noncompliant carrying-weight condition when the current gross vehicle weight is more than a prescribed maximum allowable gross vehicle weight assigned thereto and/or the current carrying weight of any primary axle and any designated axle group is more than a prescribed maximum allowable carrying weight assigned thereto. And if the current gross vehicle weight is equal to or less than the prescribed maximum allowable gross vehicle weight and the current center of gravity of the vehicle is in a compliance-manageable range which is established by the monitoring system and specific to the vehicle, the monitoring system recommends auxiliary axle usage that would result in compliance with the prescribed maximum and minimum allowable carrying weight assigned to each of the primary axles, any designated axle group and any utilized auxiliary axle.
Slip control via active suspension for optimization of braking and accelerating of a vehicle
System and method for improving braking efficiency by increasing the magnitude of a frictional force between a tire of a vehicle wheel and a road surface. Braking efficiency may be improved by controlling the normal force applied on the wheel, with an active suspension actuator, based on the wheel's slip ratio.
Jounce bumpers and spring assemblies including same
A jounce bumper can be dimensioned for securement along an end member of a gas spring assembly adjacent a sensing device. The jounce bumper can include a bumper body with a sensing passage extending their through such that the sensing device can communicate through the sensing passage. A gas spring assembly including a sensing device and such a jounce bumper as well as a suspension system including one or more of such gas spring assemblies are also included.
