Suspension system
The present disclosure relates to a system for control of front and/or rear suspensions of a bicycle. The system comprises at least one sensor and one control unit. The at least one sensor is connected to the control unit and the control unit is configured to receive information from the sensor, determine a ride state of the bicycle from the information and send a suspension setting signal to the front and/or the rear suspension corresponding to the ride state. The control unit is further configured to establish an event, the event comprising information about said ride state of the bicycle and a suspension setting signal to the front and/or the rear suspension corresponding to the ride state and defining a minimum duration in time for the event.
Surface condition monitoring apparatus
Provided is a surface condition monitoring apparatus including: a transparent member; a transmission unit including a transmitter that transmits electromagnetic waves from one side of the transparent member toward the other side; and a reception unit including a receiver that detects the electromagnetic waves that enter the one side of the transparent member from the other side, the transmission unit and the reception unit being arranged such that the receiver detects scattered waves of the electromagnetic waves transmitted from the transmitter, that enter the one side from the other side, the transmission unit being configured to be capable of transmitting a plurality of electromagnetic waves having different wavelengths, and the reception unit being configured to detect intensities of the scattered waves of the electromagnetic waves at different positions.
Suspension with hydraulic preload adjust
A shock absorber for a vehicle having a damper and a first and second springs mounted coaxially around the damper and a preload adjuster for partially compressing at least one of the springs independently of the compression stroke. In one embodiment the preload adjuster is remotely controllable. In another embodiment the shock absorber includes an additional mechanism for preloading at least one of the springs.
Air spring height measurement arrangement
The subject invention relates to an air spring height measurement arrangement comprising a magnetic field transmitting arrangement (110) and a magnetic field receiving arrangement (120). The magnetic field transmitting arrangement is adapted to adopt a first state and a second state with regard to the magnetic field receiving arrangement. One of the magnetic field transmitting arrangement (110) and the magnetic field receiving arrangement (120) comprises a first coil (141) and a second coil and the other comprises a third coil (143). A first central axis (161) of the first coil and a second central axis (162) of the second coil enclose a first angle (171) and, in the first state, a third central axis (163) of the third coil (143) and the first central axis enclose a second angle (172), which first and second angle cannot be 0.
DETERMINATION OF ROLL ANGLE AND BANK ANGLE WITH SUSPENSION DISPLACEMENT DATA
A device includes a body operatively connected to a plurality of wheels, with the plurality of wheels being positioned relative to a banked surface defining a bank angle (). A suspension system includes at least one suspension sensor configured to provide suspension displacement data. A controller is in communication with the at least one suspension sensor and has a processor and tangible, non-transitory memory on which is recorded instructions. The controller is configured to obtain the suspension displacement data and determine a roll angle () based at least partially on the suspension displacement data. The bank angle () is determined based at least partially on the roll angle (), a yaw rate (r), a longitudinal velocity (V.sub.x) and a plurality of predetermined parameters. Operation of the device is controlled based partly on at least one of the roll angle () and the bank angle ().
Robotic working tool
A robotic work tool system may include a robotic work tool. The robotic work tool may include two front wheels and a chassis. The robotic work tool is characterized in that the two front wheels are arranged on a beam axle that is pivotably arranged to the chassis.
MAGNETIC WEIGHT ON WHEELS DETECTION
A shock absorber for a vehicle includes a cylinder and a piston, a portion of which slidably disposed with the cylinder. A magnetic target is fixedly positioned relative to the piston, and a sensor is fixedly positioned relative to the cylinder. The sensor generates a signal according to the position of the magnet target relative to the sensor.
